We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Manda “Kitty K” Renee. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Manda “Kitty below.
Manda “Kitty, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
Let me just say our Bar Babez Community is so amazing. I show appreciation for them in personalized communication, loyalty programs, small gestures, social media engagement, going the extra mile, and lastly feedback and improvement.
Personalized communication: We send a thank-you note after each event, mentioning something specific we enjoyed about their celebration.
Loyalty programs: We have created a tiered system where repeat customers receive increasing benefits like discounts, priority booking, or special cocktail options. We offer exclusive “members only” events or promotions to build our Bar Babez Community.
Small gestures: Surprise returning clients with a complimentary signature cocktail. Leave a small gift to the host of the celebration, like branded coasters or cocktail recipe cards.
Going the extra mile: Offer to customize a drink menu based on their specific preferences or event theme. Be flexible with scheduling and accommodate special requests when possible.
Feedback and improvement: I regularly ask for feedback from my clients to understand what they appreciate and how we can improve our service. Implement suggestions based on client feedback to demonstrate we value their input.
By showing our clients that we appreciate their business, we have saw and increase with repeat bookings, and build a positive reputation within Our Bar Babez Community.

Manda “Kitty, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a Serial Entrepreneur who wear many heels. I am a Celebrity Bartender, Personal Assistant and a Lifestyle influencer. My first baby is Purple Kissez Kreationz, a mobile bar mix that serve cocktails, desserts, and cannabis. Because we are a one-stop shop our clients love that about us! Along with being a one stop shop, my clients LOVE the experience I provide them with. My team and I are dedicated to making sure our client’s event is stress free and enjoyable, which allows them to focus on making memories with their guests. You wouldn’t believe how many people give me compliments on my attitude as well the way my cocktails taste. So I come with a great personality and experience/knowledge when it comes to making cocktails. In conclusion, at PKK, it’s more than just making great cocktails or any of the other services we offer, we go above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience when you book us. Owning and operating a mobile mix service might sound like a dream gig: be your own boss, set your own hours, flex your creative muscles, etc. But these bars on wheels pack a lot more under the hood than we realize. As the owner when I started off, I had to wear all the hats: from bartender to promoter, from repairwoman to procurement manager, I had to create balance, and I did that by making me a daily schedule that I still use. Then it was the logistics of the business: paperwork, licenses, inspections, etc was very costly but luckily with the paperwork, I only must update everything one to three years at a time. And lastly it was a challenge establishing a reputation! I had to work extra hard to cultivate and maintain relationships in the events industry that I just entered. It can take years for an events service provider to build up a steady stream of clients and even then, I had to continue to advertise to find new customers. I had it on lock with the desserts, but it was harder trying with the cocktails, I had to find the perfect balance by making them strong enough but good at the same time. And to overcome that was honestly just getting out in the community and showcasing my products.
With the success of PKK I have expanded with my connections and have become a Personal Assistant to clients within the music industry and sport world. Becoming a Personal Assistant is new to me as well as becoming a Lifestyle Influencer. Becoming a Influencer I have received partnerships with Shein, Amazon, Tito’s and more, I enjoy sharing my life with my supporters. All my career fields tie into each other and all contribute to the success of Manda “Kitty K” Renee (Me).

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
To grow my client base for my mobile bar, I focus on strategic marketing through online platforms, local networking, event partnerships, unique menu offerings, and excellent customer service; actively promote my services at relevant events, build a strong online presence, and consider offering specialized packages to cater to different client needs.

We’d love to hear your thoughts about selling platforms like Amazon/Etsy vs selling on your own site.
I believe in using all platforms to sell a product. We sell on www.purplekissekreations.com but we have setup stores on Etsy and Amazon. We have seen success in using all platforms.
