In 2021, Erth Co embarked on a creative collaboration with Raw Beauty Wellness. The task at hand was to reimagine and revitalize the brand’s identity through a comprehensive rebranding strategy. Raw Beauty, known for its clean and minimalistic approach to skincare, sought a visual language that could articulate its core philosophy and connect with a broader audience. We infused a touch of modernity and simplicity into the logo, making it more visually appealing and aligned with contemporary design aesthetics. As a strategic approach we assigned each product category a unique base color and incorporated distinguishable stripes for individual products. This not only streamlined the visual identity but also provided consumers with a more informed and visually appealing experience.
The cohesive and visually appealing packaging, coupled with a modernized logo, contributed to increased brand recognition and consumer trust. The success of the rebranding initiative has allowed Raw Beauty to navigate new market segments and secure a foothold among a diverse demographic.

Hi there, I’m Malvika, and I am the creative director at Erth Co. We’re a small design haven focused on crafting distinctive branding and packaging solutions that resonate deeply. It’s funny how life takes unexpected turns; my journey began in the realm of fashion design, and if you had asked me then, I would never have guessed I’d find myself in the world of graphic design. It truly was a happy accident.
Today, it warms my heart to see consultants and agencies entrusting us with their array of brands, validating the sincerity we pour into our work and reassuring us that we’re walking the right path. This journey has been nothing short of fulfilling, and I find myself brimming with excitement at the thought of the continued growth and impact we can carve out in the expansive canvas of the design industry.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
While juggling freelancing to fund our fashion design dreams, the pandemic nudged me towards showcasing digital fashion illustrations on Instagram. My illustrations were performing alright I would say, and so I started not only selling prints of my artwork but also writing to fashion houses to see if they’d be interested in custom artwork for their campaigns. Surprisingly, this led to a collaboration with a big fashion design house for India’s first illustrated fashion campaign. Suddenly, doors were opening, and opportunities were knocking.
The real game-changer happened when someone said, “Hey, can you make a logo for me since you’re into design stuff?” I took it on, and honestly, looking back, that first design was a bit rough around the edges. But in that moment, I felt like I had created something special. That got me hooked, and I dived into every logo design tutorial I could find on YouTube.
What drew me into graphic design was the power each design had to solve a unique problem with a clear purpose. I realized that beauty could be found even without all the fancy stuff. Learning the ropes of the industry happened on the job – mostly by making mistakes. The network slowly expanded, bringing in more clients and more learning on the fly.

Brand Naming and Taglines: We get the importance of a brand’s name and tagline in telling its story. Using market insights, knowing the competition, and gathering audience feedback, we craft names that make your brand stand out.
Visual Identity Creation: The first impression is visual, right? So, we aim to capture your brand’s essence through impactful visual storytelling.
Functional, Engaging, and Sustainable Packaging Design: Beyond looking good, our packaging design focuses on being practical, engaging, and eco-friendly. We make sure your packaging aligns with your brand values and leaves a positive footprint.
Along this journey, I’ve been lucky to work with amazing founders who trusted us with their brands and visions. Each collaboration has been a treasure trove of learning, with every individual contributing something valuable to my understanding of the industry. It’s been quite the ride!

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
For Erth Co., the most fruitful source of new clients has been the network cultivated through family and friends, stemming from previous project collaborations. Proactively reaching out to small brands and clients independently further expanded our clientele.
Additionally, Our online presence is a game-changer. The visibility of our work on the website and social media platforms provides potential clients with insights into our capabilities. The trust instilled by showcasing our previous projects and client testimonials has been instrumental. This online visibility not only attracts new clients but also establishes confidence in our ability to deliver quality work.
