Mallory , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

I had been baking cookies for friends and family for a couple of years, simply because I enjoyed creating something people loved. Once we relocated back to Ohio and moved into our own home, my family started encouraging me to start a business. My siblings and I have gift exchanges for Christmas and they began gifting me cookie supplies and business supplies. They finally told me, “Alright, you have everything you need to get, no more excuses start this up!” And so I in November of 2019, I did!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am creative person and love unique things! Creating custom cookies allows me to use that creativity yet make something unique each time! Something that sets me apart from others is that I am constantly trying new things, learning different techniques and applying them to my business.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Word of mouth and social media have helped me to reach new customers that I would not have had access to. I love to hear where people got my name or found my cookies when then order from me!

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

I offer holiday presales as often as I can! People love personalized cookies to gift or have as a treat without purchasing a full order of a couple dozen. I try my very best to personally hand off cookies, but when I have multiple pickup locations, that isn’t always an option. Still, I love to see my clients face to face and express my thankfulness in them choosing to order from me.
