Hi Maleny, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I started on music very early on, first on keyboards and then switch to guitar, which is my main instrument.

At first I just noticed how easily I lost track of time playing my guitar and composing and I knew it was something I wanted to keep doing my whole life, but since I was a kid I really didn’t know anything about pursuing a career, specially in music or any creative field.
It was a few years later when I was 13 years old that I realized I could do this for a living and started taking music more seriously.
I didn’t understand much about money or personal finances, as well as making money playing music, I just knew this was my thing.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

I’m a professional guitarist and composer, currently collaborating with various artists through Warner Chappell Publishing.

I’m also currently composing new instrumental music for my solo project, which features guitar as the main instrument, with influences that goes from rock, progressive, jazz to classical music.

Used to live in New York City for various years performing with all kinds of singers and bands.

Besides music, I’m a certified consultant in personal growth and consciousness development and I help people discover their passion.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

I’t would be great if society grew more awareness on the positive impact art has con each person.

Sometimes we may thing about music, literature, visual arts and any kind of art as a luxury, but in reality it is a human need that enriches society and help us connect to our human nature and higher consciousness.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

After spending my whole life working in the music industry, performing with various singers and bands, as well as composing for other people and projects, right now I’m focusing on developing my own voice as an artists.
My main goal now is to create music straight from my heart and soul that speaks for itself and be able to connect with other people.
