We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Maksim Baglaev. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Maksim below.
Alright, Maksim thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe that success is certainly your efforts and, to some extent, luck. It is not a little important to remain yourself and bend your line even if there is a series of failures! Risk and success are equal, without them there will be no experiments and new knowledge.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My story begins in 2011 with a gift from my grandmother in the form of a small digital camera, and from that moment my creative path as a photographer began. I was born in Belarus in the small town of Osipovichi. He went through many stages in the development of his vision of the photosphere. I was shooting in almost all directions, looking for myself and my vision, and as a result, I gave up many types of filming for almost 10 years. And at the moment I’m developing in art, street photography, and also working with modeling agencies and brands.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
There is a goal, to try out myself in different styles as much as possible, to get to know different photographers from famous to the simplest, I am interested in development, and most importantly, learning a new subject, we can say that experience is my continuous goal
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
This is partly luck, but it is also not a little important to see something of your own, which hooked the viewer. I try to do the work only to my satisfaction, share the aesthetic moments of my life, talk about creativity, I think my sincerity and approach is the trick, also looking at the work as a whole
