Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Makenzie Farley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Makenzie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?
I’ve always been in the creative space since the beginning of my teen years. I started doing youtube at the age of 15. I always knew that’s something i wanted to do because i couldn’t stop thinking about that kind of life and the passion i had behind it was very strong. I have a very out going, goofy personality so i wanted to share that with the world. I was only a freshman in highschool so i had no job or other main hobbies so most of my videos were always school vlogs and school interviews. I really enjoyed what i did so i would say i would have changed the fact that i wasn’t as consistent with my content and didn’t take it as serious as i do now . I feel if i would have done that i would have gotten recognized much sooner and also would have a larger support base.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Well hi im makenzie, but most people call me kenzie. I live a regular 9 to 5 life just like a lot of other people. I got into the creator industry by just growing up watching other youtubers and creators, knowing that i wanted to do that very same thing. The type of content i create is simple authenticity & the realness of my day to day life. Most of my content consists of “day in the life ” videos where i take my viewers through my crazy , hectic , busy days juggling two jobs. What i think sets me apart from others is the fact that i feel i can be my true crazy self through my content & show them what really goes on in my life, i don’t feel a lot of people feel comfortable showing their real life or feel that they can’t be themselves due to being judged. Im most proud that i’ve built my support base / following just off of showing my regular boring 9-5 life and again just simply being me. The main thing i want my potential supporters to know about me is that i’ll always keep it real with them and never fake anything.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My main goal towards my creative journey is to further be recognized by others and to continue to grow my support base.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding thing as a creator is to post that content and get all the positive feedback/ comments from your supporters . It’s nothing like having a tough day and then you post a video seeing all the loving/ supportive comments from people.
