We were lucky to catch up with Maju Veneziani recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Maju, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I was always a child who loved to study and was very interested in books. When I was 12 years old, a history teacher awakened in me the desire to know more about this broad and exciting school subject.
Until I was 15, I didn’t feel the desire to see the world, to travel, to venture out. However, in 2012, I was invited to go with my uncles to Walt Disney World, and I accepted so as not to miss the opportunity.
When I got there and came across that universe, a key turned in me and the magic happened. I dedicated myself to studying more about the “most magical place in the world” and its creator.
In that moment, as I read and read the books about Walt Disney, I understood that he never gave up fighting for his goals, even when no one supported him, and that he believed in his dreams. And in that moment, I fell in love.
In 2019, I had the opportunity to go with my parents to this magical place. And there… at that moment, I saw that the world was very big… that there were so many stories that I didn’t know, that I needed to know it.
With the encouragement of my parents, I created the blog Let’s Travel the World. And at just 3 years old, he’s already expanded and attracted people I don’t even know.
So just like Walt Disney inspired me years ago, I believe that my mission, that is, the mission of Let’s Travel the World, is to inspire other people to go after their dreams, never give up despite difficulties, move forward and believe that your “dreams can come true”!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Well, my name is Maria Júlia Veneziani Lage, professionally known as Maju Veneziani. I’m 25 years old. I live in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil. I’m graduated in Publicity and Advertising, and Tourism Management. I am passionate about photography, discover new stories and travel! My biggest dream is to travel around the world! And my biggest obstacle is expose myself on the internet!
Let’s Travel the World was born from my huge passion and desire to explor the world, that first started on my first international trip to the Walt Disney World, in 2013. Since I couldn’t travel all the time, I started to learn more about different destinations, mainly about the history of these locations. From that, I realized that gathering information in just one place, like the history, possible routes, curiosities and tips, would be a great way to introduce people to these destinations and help them on their trip, or that also want to know more about the world.
To take my love of destinations to other channels, I created Instagram, where I put on the world’s curiosities and tips. And I also created a podcast in portuguese with my cousin, where we transformed the posts into audio, but my idea is to conduct interviews with people who have already traveled and in the tourism area. Currently, I created Let’s Travel the World Youtube channel with the intention of presenting the destinations and their stories.
On October 29, 2022, it will complet 3 years of Let’s Travel the World. I hope there are many years to come.
Let’s Travel the World is the union of Traveling, History, Love and Dreams coming True.
My next goal is to reveal my service of producing personalized travel itineraries and answering questions about this subject. Today, what I believe is differentiating me is that I am creating content about my region, as there is a lack of information and dissemination about these destinations.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I increased the audience of my social media through outreach to friends and family. And also on Instagram from the creation of reels, as the company reveal this type of video to people who don’t follow you. My tip for those new to social media is to stay consistent, whether Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I have two stories of difficult times on my journey.
The first story is that the person who translated my texts from Portuguese to English can no longer continue. At that moment I thought of other alternatives and other people, because I didn’t want to stop. So as I didn’t find anyone who could help me, I decided to do it myself, but with my English teacher’s correction.
And the other story, is that my cousin who shared with me the podcast Hey, let’s travel? (derived from Let’s Travel the World) cannot continue either. And my cousin Luiza was ready to help me.
