We were lucky to catch up with Maira De Leon recently and have shared our conversation below.
Maira, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Hi, my name is Maira De Leon. I am a multi-passionate entrepreneur, artist, wife, founder and CEO of Enliven Society and Good Studio Co. I am also a soul-led business & empowerment coach for women.
At Enliven Society, we empower women through education, community, and connection. Our mission is to cultivate a supportive network that inspires personal and professional growth and holistic wellness advocacy. We are dedicated to breaking barriers, fostering inclusive opportunities, and creating a platform where every woman can thrive and make a meaningful impact in her business, community, and beyond.
We believe that community is the key to unlocking potential and driving change. By providing resources, mentorship, coaching, events and workshops, we create a safe space for dialogue and aim to elevate voices and celebrate diverse experiences. Together, we are building a future where every woman is equipped to pursue her dreams and empower others along the way! Our organization is committed to promoting the importance of holistic wellness in the entrepreneurial world. We understand that physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being are essential for women to thrive in all businesses no matter the field. Through workshops, wellness programs, retreats and community events, we invite women to learn about self-care, self-awareness, well-being, and healthy balances in life and business.
We envision a vibrant community where women uplift one another, share their stories, and build lasting connections. By fostering an inclusive environment, we create opportunities for collaboration and collective growth. Our network encourages women to mentor, inspire, and motivate each other, recognizing that shared experiences can lead to profound transformations! We strive to provide access to diverse learning opportunities that inspire lifelong growth. From skill-building workshops to leadership training, we empower women to pursue their passions and become confident leaders in their fields. By equipping women with knowledge and skills, we help them navigate challenges and seize opportunities as well as help them step into their inner power.
Ultimately, our goal is to create a ripple effect of empowerment that extends beyond individual lives. As women grow stronger and more self-assured, they become agents of change in their families and communities. Together, we can reshape narratives, break down barriers, and build a future where every woman has the chance to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
– Maira

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am passionate about many things but on top of that list you’ll find women empowerment and creating & hosting incredible, transformative experiences. :)
Enliven Society is a vibrant and bold organization that provides empowerment, education, and community to modern women from all walks of life. In today’s society, many women struggle with mental health issues due to societal pressures, trauma, or lack of support. Many entrepreneurial women often experience burn-out, depression, feelings of inadequacy or self-doubt– fearing they don’t belong in leadership roles or that their achievements are undeserved. This can lead to anxiety and hinder professional growth. The pressure to excel while balancing work and personal responsibilities can lead to chronic stress and burnout. Women may feel overwhelmed by the demands placed on them, impacting their mental health and overall productivity.
Our organization offers in-person wellness programs, workshops, outings, retreats and virtual masterminds to promote mental and emotional well-being, self-care, resilience, motivation, and inspiration for their own unique path to their purpose.
Financial insecurity can also be a significant barrier to many women in business. Our organization offers events and workshops where they learn about financial tools and how to access the resources to help them manage their finances, build wealth, and achieve financial independence.
Building professional networks can be daunting to many women, especially when starting out in the business world, particularly if women face barriers in forming connections. This lack of support can contribute to feelings of insecurity and limit opportunities for growth. This, and many other reasons, is why Enliven Society was created. We want women to feel like they belong, they are cared for, loved and appreciated– they MATTER.
By addressing these and so many more imbalances, our organization plays a vital role in fostering a more equitable and supportive society for women.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Pivoting? What’s that! Haha. We all know what this means, I’m sure– at some point in our lives, we’ve come across a pivoting experience. In my case, pivoting back in 2021 changed my life forever.
Story time: in January of 2021, I was let go from my marketing position. I was a marketing director and I loved that job so much, even though I was struggling with keeping my side business afloat. The marketing job was super demanding of my time and energy. Nonetheless, I felt so crushed when I was given the news that they no longer could keep me due to the pandemic crisis. Three long months later and a whole lot of crying, stressing, pondering, and whatever else– I decided to take the leap and go all in on my wedding services business. Not only did I go full-time with Good Studio Co., I also decided to add another type of wedding business to the mix. Within one year, I had hit six figures! I had also been on a healing and spiritual journey since then that had completely shifted everything in my life. I was so proud, excited, and inspired by what I had created for myself— in 2022, God led me to share what I had learned with other women so they could too reach abundance, peace, fulfillment and a sense of purpose in their lives. Shortly after, I launched Enliven Society and it’s been a beautiful experience ever since! I have been having the most magical time creating unique and impactful experiences for women in our community.
I now own multiple successful businesses and I am in a transition phase where I’ll be placing some of them as a priority and the rest as a “side” business kind of thing until it is time to say goodbye to those parts of my journey. With time, we change and so our passions shift, especially when we start connecting within and start finding our purpose in this world. I am slowly transitioning to being of service and helping others on their path and expressing myself along the way through art and experiences. :) My perspective has completely shifted since 2020. It’s been a beautiful and soul-flourishing journey!
