Alright, Maija thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I think I always knew. I grew up in the Latvian countryside, where the professional performance world felt like a distant dream — something I didn’t even know truly existed. There were small-town shows, folk and ballroom classes, a few street dance groups later on — but nothing that showed me the full spectrum of what dance could be.
Still, every time I stepped on stage, even as a child, I felt an unshakable pull. I didn’t know how I’d make it happen, but I knew this was what I was meant to do. That drive led me to search endlessly for opportunities, classes, and mentors — anything that could turn passion into a path. That’s really where it began — not from access, but from desire.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I started Ring Entertainment from a deep desire to create something bigger than myself — something that connects artistry, community, and emotion in a way that transforms how people experience events.

I’ve always believed there’s untapped potential within all of us, and for me, that potential came alive through performance and now as an entrepreneur. What began as a personal dream to dance and create evolved into a mission to design experiences that move people — literally and emotionally.

At Ring Entertainment, we specialize in luxury aerial and dance performances for weddings, galas, and curated events. But what truly sets us apart isn’t just the choreography — it’s the culture behind it. Our process is built on collaboration, trust, and joy. I want both my clients and my artists to feel inspired, valued, and cared for. When that energy aligns, the result feels effortless — as if beauty itself is conducting the show.

We solve a common problem for clients who want their events to feel unique, seamless, and emotionally captivating. Many worry about lulls in the flow, awkward pauses, or guests losing energy — and that’s where we come in. We design performances that bridge those moments, keeping guests engaged and the atmosphere alive with magic and elegance. A surprise after surprise after surprise.

What I’m most proud of is the feeling we leave behind — that sparkle in the air after a show, when guests are smiling, inspired, and connected. To me, beauty has the power to change the world — to heal, to inspire, and to remind people of what’s possible when we create from the heart.

My story began in the middle of nowhere — a small countryside in Latvia, far from the world of stages, lights, and creative possibility. Yet something inside me always knew there was more. That belief carried me from my small hometown to Paris, and eventually to New York City — each step a leap into the unknown, guided only by passion, faith, and the conviction that beauty and art could change lives.

Building a performance career, and now a company, taught me that resilience isn’t about struggle — it’s about mindset. Like in The Alchemist, I’ve learned that when you truly want something, the universe conspires to help you achieve it. The journey is about showing up, staying brave, and daring to dream bigger each time.

That’s the energy I bring into Ring Entertainment — a space where passion meets purpose, where we remind both artists and clients that creating something extraordinary doesn’t have to be hard when it’s built on joy, connection, and courage.
