We were lucky to catch up with Maha Fatemi recently and have shared our conversation below.

Maha, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard

I believe in honesty and care in life and business.
Never forget how I started and how people like angels came up in my life to help me grow without expectations.
Money it’s important but helping people and showing care is more important to me and people can feel and see that.
I believe life is about learning and helping eachother.
Of course it’s scary and lots of responsibility and stress in taking over my own business alone but when I see myself getting stronger and better by even many times failure and not giving up is encouraging.

Maha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I grow up in a country that was a dictator and limited for women to be able to do things they like to do. So, as soon as I got a chance to move out of the country, I did in age of 20, I moved to Dubai UAE .
Then I started learning makeup and fashion makeup for years then when I moved to America USA I started bodypainting on live models for fun followed by going to school for skin care. And opens my llc on 2018
I believe my passion and talent in art made me a part from others. I love what I do and I love connecting with people.
The same way I love people, they love and trust me and my work.
I always try everything on myself first before talking or selling it to people so I can make sure I am not lying.
I want people to know that I look at life like we are here for building and helping each other not to compete or destroy another.
That’s why I show care and respect for everyone.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I build my social media audience organically
I asked every one of my clients if they happy with me and my work and they like what I did so have a Google review and check my social media
So, they did
Also, I tried to put information and videos and picture updated weekly

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

Best way that I am still getting new clients is people recommendations
Those clients who worked with me recommended me.
