MAGNUS , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The reason my mission is so important, is to present a real record label n company that’s geared towards helping and empowering the artist.
We striving to reverse the negative effects that the industry has done to hip hop artist over 50 yrs of hip hop.
Creative control, financial equality,and the preservation of the artists natural talents,to create an environment where the artists can thrive n evolve to their ideal perception
MAGNUS , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was born in BROWNSVILLE BROOKLYN and raised in FLATBUSH BROOKLYN NEW YORK. I was born to a musical family, basically at the inception of hip hop.My uncle is GOD FATHER DON OF ULTRA MGNETIC MCs,(THE ORPHANS)
I was raised in the culture of HIP HOP,with family members in the industry, I’ve witnessed the corruption and manipulative practices of record execs and their maniacal practices used to defraud the artists of their labels.
For crimes undisclosed I was incarcerated for 20 yrs straight, I was released in 2015, February 7th of 2015 I designed and created BROOKLYN EMPIRE Ent LLC INDEPENDENT RECORD LABEL N BUSINESS OWNER.
We have been producing music every week of every month for the last 10 yrs with branches in different countries n states un the united states.
We have a rasta of 7 prime artists with sols n extensive albums.
BROOKLYN Empire Ent LLC has a mission statement, code of ethics and bylaws.
Focusing on empowerering the artist,and encouraging entrepreneurship
Business advice etc.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I BELIEVE MY HISTORY AND RESILIENCE THREW OUT MY ORDEAL AIDED IN MY REPUTATION, THAT GAINED ALOT OF SUPPORT IN THIS 10 YEAR JOURNEY AS A ESTABLISHING MY RECORD LABEL AS A WORTHYCOMPETITOR IN THE ARENA OF HIP HOP.

I DID 20 YRS IN PRISON,I HAVE A MASTERS DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY, A BACHELORS IN BUSINESS, AND AN ASSOCIATES IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, I SPEAK 4 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES FLUENT.
I AM ALSO A MUSICAL PRODUCER AND ENGINEER.
