We recently connected with Maggie Foster and have shared our conversation below.
Maggie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
It takes a daily routine and having a mindset of what success looks like for you. Some people thinks it will happen overnight. What I found is that it is a very long game that takes constant dedication, responsibility, and discipline. Working seven days a week is not a bad thing when you know it will pay off in the long run. You also need a mentor. Someone you can call for questions, experience and perspective. This is imperative.
Maggie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a third generation realtor like my mother and grandmother before me. I have a background in marketing and strategic communications. I offer a professional and positive experience to my clients. Problem solving is the core of my business along with education. What sets me apart is my positive attitude and business acumen. I have an enthusiasm for the real estate industry. My clients are of the upmost importance and I want them to have a five star experience and be well informed about the home buying or selling process.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and How to Win Friends and Influence Others by Dale Carnegie. Both are exceptional sales books in the sense that they gave me perspective on how to be a better version of myself.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I was still building my real estate business and near labor in the hospital and about to have my second son. I was taking client calls right before I gave birth to my son. I had to get off the phone with a client to deliver my child. After I gave birth, I continued to make calls to other clients to continue my commitment to my clients. My dad told me he knew that I would be successful after hearing this story. I do not know of another job in which I would be so dedicated.
