We were lucky to catch up with Magda Lopez recently and have shared our conversation below.

Magda, appreciate you joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

I feel like if there is no risk, there is no reward. I have had a lot in my life so far, thankfully. And I have lost more, thankfully. Both of these experiences, have enriched my mind, body and soul. I made a business out of it. I am beyond grateful for the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I wrote my first book, I opened a very aggressive business. I swore I would never fall in love again. All of this happened in one year. The book has sold non-stop. I get letters and messages constantly regarding breakthroughs because of my truths. I have seen first hand what the studio has done for so many humans in such a short time. That is the reward. The humans that we have touched. I am desperately in love. He is my inspiration. I have never known a more exciting, trustworthy love. All of this happened in one year.

Magda, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I became a fitness fanatic during my divorce. It sounds cliche. It isn’t! You have a choice when going through trauma. Live or die. I chose life.

We’d appreciate any insights you can share with us about selling a business.

I have bought many businesses. The key to that being successful is your personal relationship skills. Client retention is the answer.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Consistency is my best tool. You cant sell what you don’t do.
