We were lucky to catch up with Madison Paul recently and have shared our conversation below.
Madison, appreciate you joining us today. Can you tell us a story about a time you failed?
When I started Face Fuel I originally created a Instagram, Yelp and Facebook page. I was juggling my time with so many other tasks that I decided to hire an advertising/marketing company. They offered help with creating a website, and posting to my facebook page. At first it sounded like a great deal so I thought, “might as well invest in an online presences.” In the end they weren’t posting much and didn’t have the same vision for Face Fuel as me. When I decided I no longer needed the help I didn’t realize I had a contract with them for 6 months. In the end it was a learning opportunity to always read the fine print, have a clear understanding of what you want advertised and promoted for your business otherwise it won’t be clear to your clients.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
When I started Face Fuel I originally only had a Instagram, Yelp and Facebook page. Over time I have really tried to narrow in what my media presence is online and what I want to promote for Face Fuel. I created a TikTok and Threads account a few months later which has grown my clientele as well. Now a days everyone has social media and it’s a great way to attract future clientele through your doors.
Over time I have learned so many great skills using other platforms to create my content like Canva or Capcut. Some advice would be to start somewhere, post what you think represents your business, try to have fun with it and see where it takes you!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
