We recently connected with Madison Christgau and have shared our conversation below.
Madison , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
I’ve taken a lot of risks. As an expecting mother, a business owner, an entrepreneur, and whatever you can come up with. Risks have been taken every step of the way to ensure my families future, and recently I have been taking the biggest risk of my life, choosing to be a (mostly) stay at home mom in order to make more time for my own startups, and my family. I know it doesn’t sound like much, and I thought it to be an easy task, But the reality is simple; When you stop working, money stop coming in, and was a scary realization for me. After all, starting a business takes time, and at first I was under the impression that money would just come rolling in, but I didn’t think that far, and unfortunately that’s not always how it works. But after a little bit of financial struggle, I realized something… this will all be worth it. I recently received an inquiry from an eager gift shop owner about becoming her social media manger, and she was ready to pay me almost anything. It made something click in me, like I had found some secret formula. I realized all the time I took off to spend time with my family and film content at the locations we visited was working out for me, and that felt really great coming from someone who’s dream is simply financial freedom, and making the world a better place. But the works not over yet, and there will be plenty more risks in the future. So it’s important to keep calm, strap yourself in and stay prepared for anything.

Madison , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who don’t know me, hi! I’m Madison Christgau. I’m a mom, certified life coach, model, influencer, business start up owner, social media manger, animal lover and content creator for other business.
Growing up I always wanted to work with animals, and then I wanted to be a singer songwriter (that one’s on the back burner right now), and after becoming pregnant at 17, something changed; I wanted to be a business woman. Now it’s been a long hard road but it’s paying off! It all started with a passion to change the way the world does things.
My services included 1 on 1 life coaching sessions at varying lengths, content creation and promotionals/brand deals, modeling, advertising, and social media management, with so much more to come!
I think what sets me apart is my intimate passion to help people. Both through life coaching and advertising, or helping to solve simple problems, I love doing it all, especially from an eco-conscious perspective. I’m most proud of my recent work at New England Fashion Week and the goals I’ve helped my social media clients to achieve, such as advertising events or promoting certain aspects.
To all my potential and future clients, I want you to understand that I’m here for you every step of the way both as a friend, and an advisor. I love building community.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
In my opinion, I think society as a whole can support creatives of all forms through buying from local, or small businesses. Sales mean a lot to us, when you buy anything from a small business owner you’re not just buying a product, you’re buying a product from a peer in your community, and that support goes a lot further than you’d realize. It feels good when you get support from your community, after all, we’re not machines, we are real people putting lots of time and effort into our creations, and that person to person connection is really important in a day and age where everything is ran by manufactured items and self checkouts.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Over all, my goal is to change the way society operates, things don’t have to be so hard! Another driving factor is my family, and giving them something to inherit and learn from, as well as freedom from financial struggle. I think these things are important things to consider; How your family will be doing generations from now. Everyone should be planning what they will leave behind for their heirs.
