We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Mackeisha Peeples. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Mackeisha below.
Mackeisha, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Finding those key vendors can often be make or break for a brand. Can you talk to us about how you found your key vendors?
I utilize my relationships with the local farming community’s across the valley to supply my clients with fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy and more. I found these purveyors by doing my research and networking. I choose to purchase fresh products because I strongly believe in holistic health, farm to table cuisine and I understand the benefits for both parties.

Mackeisha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I first was exposed to a black female Chef at age 10. She mentored me and showed me a positive way to escape poverty and also help my community, which was critical to my development into the Chef and Entrepreneur I am today. I have put myself through culinary school, worked in fast food to fine dining restaurants, and moved across the country to achieve my professional and personal dreams. I offer my exclusive farm to table nouveau cuisine worldwide. I also have recently executive produced my own cooking show on YouTube which has been a lifelong dream. I recently released my cookbook which is a compilation of five star restaurant meals that anyone can prepare for themselves or loved ones from the comfort of their home. I am currently catering private jets throughout the valley and working on other projects. Stay tuned!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I remember struggling in culinary school trying to juggle motherhood, multiple jobs and going to night school. I had so many barriers and obstacles to overcome at that time and I remember wanting to give up on life, not feeling that their was a reality outside of that current one. As many times as I cried and sometimes starved and sacrificed for the betterment of myself and my child’s future I refused to give up, making sure I showed up in life everyday. I am the definition of resilience, persistence, determination and inspiration in the flesh. I aspire to inspire others to never stop trying to make their dreams a reality.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
At the end of 2019 I got the courage to jump all the way off the porch and into my dreams by leaving my comfort zone in Youngstown, Ohio. I decided to move to Mesa,Arizona in February 2020. I had never been to Arizona or on an airplane, I came with my 4 year old son and $400 to my name but God guided and provided. I was in a state of sheer determination and I set out to make my mark in the world despite the consistent barriers I faced. I knew in order for me to grow I had to completely leave my comfort zone, similar to a crocodile only growing to the size of their tank. I am proud of the changes I made to become a better version of myself.
