We recently connected with MaChaude Lowery and have shared our conversation below.

MaChaude, appreciate you joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?

First you have to be sure of your idea(s), before the possibility of execution. The execution will only happen if you’re sure of the idea(s). The process can be a wave of experiences. Stumbling blocks as well as success is expected. For me, execution happens every time you complete any task related to your idea(s). Embracing the journey leads to the execution. Once I was sure of my idea(s), I did my research. It is very imperative that you first do your research regarding the necessary steps to bring your idea(s) to life. After doing your through research, launch. The only way to start is to cease all procrastination and hesitation. It is easy to prepare, and plan, but never process. You must start, after you have researched your idea(s) thoroughly.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am MaChaude J. Lowery of MaChaude Lowery Enterprises. Machaude Lowery Enterprises is a philanthropic organization purposed to push all people to prosper in all areas of life. “Moments with MaChaude” is the mental health hub of MaChaude Lowery Enterprises aired every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday via Social Media (@machaudelowery). “Moments with MaChaude” was launched after an intense personal journaling journey after the transition of my best friend. During that period, I suffered severe depression and three suicidal episodes. With strong faith and therapeutic support, I recovered back to a place of mental stability, which birthed “Moments with MaChaude”.One of the numerous services MLE offers is career development. I specialize in products and services to advance people, starting from the mental health perspective. One of my favorite sayings from “Moments with MaChaude” is “If you can change the way you think, you can change anything about your life!” I want everyone I encounter through MaChaude Lowery Enterprises to leave better than they came, through the products and services offered. What sets me apart from others is my genuine passion for people to prosper in all areas of life. There is no games or gimmicks for helping others through MaChaude Lowery Enterprises.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

The most effective strategy for me is marketing. In order for a business to have any level of success you must market properly. First understand what you offer, and if the product(s) and/or service(s) you offer are beneficial for all people. If not, you must understand your audience. There is a saying “everything isn’t for everybody” I would argue to say, you and your business aren’t for everyone as well. Once you understand this, it will be easier to engage, and grow with your audience by the product(s) and service(s) you offer. Use social media to your advantage. You never know who will come across your advertisement via social media. I have grown my business clientele solely from social media marketing. This is the “word of mouth” marketing technique via cyberspace. Always embrace your clientele from a personal perspective, this also causes them to share your business with others. How you treat your clientele matters, because this coincide with the reputation of your business.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

In all transparency, you can possibly lose everything because you don’t pivot. Pivoting isn’t a showcase of failure, it is the welcoming of an opportunity to address areas of improvement. What you do in business, and/or life can be very good, but pivoting can cause it to be better. I had to pivot my business from the mental health hub of the enterprises, Moments with MaChaude. I had to reconsider my approach to various topics, making sure I was being all things to all people. Pivoting is where I became aware of the diversity that is needed in businesses for them to grow. Pivoting proves that there is more than one way to do anything. Moments with MaChaude is the mental health advocacy arm of the company. In mental health affairs it is important that you are knowledgeable of all areas where mental health plays a part, so that are you empathetic and sympathetic in your approach to various topics. Pivoting your personal life has a huge impact on your business affairs. Again, it isn’t saying you’re not good, it is showing where you can be better.
