We recently connected with LyTisa Greene and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, LyTisa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
The Story Behind my mission Helping Millennial Stay at Home Wives/Moms create wealth and build digital empires is that I wanted to create a space where wives, and mothers with lifestyles like mine to be able to feel like they belong.. You know somewhere with someone who gets it.. It was a challenge of working outside of the home for my family structure. My husband being an over the road driver, and being 18 hours away from our family. It cost more time, money, and freedom to operate outside of my home, as well as it took me away from important things I need to square up for my family. When I decided to fully embrace this lifestyle of being a homeschool mom, and housewife I decided to create the businesses from our lifestyle. That was even more of a challenge because, there weren’t many spaces I could go to for support with women with lifestyles like this.. They either had family around, or other things in place to help them balance out things. I was so used to things the traditional way of working from sun up to sun down and giving the most important parts of us the leftovers. Living like that didn’t line up with what my husband, kids or I wanted but we didn’t even know where to begin.. There were so many things that had to be learned and unlearned throughout this process, and more each day. it’s definitely possible and I’m living it.. But I thought how many other wives and mothers feel in the same boat.. That’s it’s impossible or unrealistic to be a housewife a stay at home mom, and build a successful legacy with your family in all of its uniqueness. I want to be one of the examples that the lifestyle is not only realistic but very much possible..

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I would say just being my authentic self, standing bold but yet approachable in my delivery. People gravitate to you more when you are yourself and not and off brand or watered down version of yourself..
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
When I finally decided to embrace the lifestyle of a stay at home wive/mom, the hardest lesson was to unlearn that because we didn’t live the lifestyle of majority of families; that didn’t make my family less than. It does not make me less of a woman because my husband is a provider and protector.. I was still adequate and just as important as a mother working 3 jobs to provide for her family, a woman ceo of corporate America, and I was just as deserving of the lifestyle and businesses that my husband and I are building for ourselves and children.. I had to learn that I create the life of my desire and when I look around today I can say that we are well on this path and growing!! I had to really transition my mind from poverty while taking the steps to remove that mindset and that takes more unlearning than anything. The backstory is the judgement, criticism challenges, and the learning that comes with embracing this lifestyle and having the courage to create businesses around it!!!
