We were lucky to catch up with Lyrical Foxx recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lyrical, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
“Nothing beats a failure but a try, and the only two things intimidated by strength is fear and weakness. “….Lyrical Foxx
I grew up in a small town with very limited resources. The kind of place where people dream big, yet see no hope in sight. One of the biggest risk I took was believing in myself and conquering the fear of failure. I too found myself discouraged many times. It took going through life’s battles to help me realize I was stronger than I thought. I knew I loved music, the culture ,writing, and making connections. I also knew I wasn’t blessed with the talent of carrying a tune. I questioned exactly how I would fit in? How would someone like myself leave a mark on the world? Why was I so afraid to take a chance?…Then it dawned on me. Instead of trying to conform to what others thought I should or shouldn’t be, why not make my own lane? At that point I decided I would build the Lyrical Foxx brand. Instead of complaining about all the things I couldn’t do I began focusing on the things I could. I chose to take a risk and explore different avenues of entertainment..music in particular. Shortly after I found myself taking on many roles. I quickly found that fear had no place in what I want to accomplish. Once I took a chance on myself I began to master promoting, event planning, artist management, networking,
creating, hosting, developing the Lyrical Foxx brand on to becoming VP of Skreet Legendz Network, which was created and founded by music artist Music Boi Trap.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
The Lyrical Foxx brand started as an event planning and promoting platform that has went on to include artist management, merchandise , and being the connection between local artists, venues, and business owners. I also like to give back to the community so I also accept donations such as toys, food, and clothing to help those who are less fortunate. Some of my upcoming projects include
The Foxx Wit Me Show which is still in creation mode and my debut on the
E-Block Tv podcast show in August 2022.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Communication and respect is key! It is also important to lead by example. With the correct leadership each individual can build on their individual skills and talents. It is important to have a positive mindset and a hard work ethic. One must understand how to follow before they can lead.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
When I chose to start managing artist I knew I would have to put in just as much work as they did. Seeing as I was never a stranger to hard work I hit the ground running! I began to get them booked for shows, tours, movies, etc. As I navigated through venues, artists, and the city my name started to become known to many music artists. At one event I had the pleasure of being introduced to Music Boi Trap (CEO/Founder of Skreet Legendz Network). It seems my work ethic and skills had paid off. I was shocked to learn that my name had preceded my presence. We set up a meeting and soon realized we both were the missing pieces to an extraordinary business connection. A few weeks later we solidified that connection with me becoming the VP of Skreet Legendz Network…and as they say..the rest is history!
