Lyndall, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
When I was 8 years old my godfather bought me a guitar for Christmas. At first I didn’t want to play because I thought the guitar was gonna be like the piano which I started when I was 7. My parents went to get me guitar lessons at Miami dade community college which I found my teacher who taught me from day 1 til senior year in high school. Now I have taught hundreds of students and played and performed for many venues, countries and organizations. This all started with my godfather buying me a guitar for christmas. His one act of kindness changed my life and changed other lives all around. Beach strings I am able to impact the world by giving back and inspiring people to make music and believe in themselves.
Lyndall, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As a Music therapist/music teacher, Lyndall’s 10+ years of experience spans from working with Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients to teenagers and primary school aged children. Regardless of the student, he provides daily assignments and creative activities that enhance their emotional state and encourage them to lean into the music.
Lyndall’s passion extends to working with non-profits including but not limited to encouraging unhoused teenagers to engage in creative activities such as sports, music, karaoke, games, life skills, and counseling. Because Lyndall’s passion is about helping others as well as music, he creates a positive and safe environment for all of his students to excel and grow.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Music is so accessible that anyone can be an artist which has its pros and cons. To support artist local businesses should promote original music and artistry. Many businesses prefer musicians doing covers compared to doing their own music. I believe there needs to be more platform for local artist to thrive and perform their original material.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The rewarding part is seeing the transformation in your own journey and how you make an impact on people lives. I really value the lessons I have learned in life so just to see other people inspired by my lifestory is truly amazing.
