Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lyn & Quan Spears. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Lyn & Quan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
A few months ago we received an email inquiry regarding an order for a bachelorette party. The customer did not reside within the state of Texas though the party would be local. We were intrigued at the thought of someone from another state not only finding us but also desiring to place an order. A pretty large order at that.
We were of course initially a little apprehensive. As with all of our customers, we wanted to make certain that we provided top notch quality and service as well as deliver scrumptious, delicious and beautiful treats & desserts. We also wanted to ensure that we did not let down a customer, especially one from out of state (lol).
During the processing of the order, let’s just say whatever could go wrong….went wrong. Everything from dumping and remaking cupcakes completely from scratch to dumping and remixing chocolate until we got the requested shade that our customer desired. We were up until 2am . We were not going to bed until everything was perfect.
The next day when the customer arrived to pick the order up, she loved that everything was so beautiful! We couldn’t wait until the party guests tasted everything . We patiently waited for the review. Within a few days we received a comment review from one of our posts about how everyone enjoyed everything especially our strawberry shortcake cheesecake brownies (MUST TRY!) Needless to say that we were super excited!
A few weeks later we received a message from the same customer inquiring about shipping. The bride was interested in having some desserts shipped. Though we don’t currently ship , the inquiry alone was enough to put a smile on our face and enough encouragement for us to keep pushing. YOUR customers will find you. You never know who’s watching.
Lyn & Quan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
We believe that our honesty, discipline and our desire to always be teachable and ready to grow helped us to build our reputation. We are always honest with our customers. If we can make it happen for them, great! If it’s something that we feel isn’t our strong suit, we are sure to inform our customers. At the same time we are constantly improving and learning so that we limit the number of customers that we must turn away.
How’d you meet your business partner?
We have actually been married 19 years, dated 2 years prior to marriage and were friends before that so what better business partner could we have other than our lifelong partner
