We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Luz Galindo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Luz, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

From my experience, resilience and never giving up have been a big part of my success. The ability to let myself go thru the challenges without questioning my purpose has been a life changer. Also, relying on my team for all the things i can’t do has changed my life.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Luz, i own a cleaning company called Just Credible cleaners. I started this company back in June of 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic. Starting a brand new cleaning business was a very easy decision to make because me and my family knew we could turn it into a very successful business, specially if we relied on our team and community to launch us into bigger and better things. We specialize in healthcare facilities, we clean the local hospitals and clinics in the surrounding areas. I love cleaning in the medical field because i know how important it is to keep the infection rates low on all the clients and patients these facilities have.

Have you ever had to pivot?

When we started three years ago, our focus was solely residential coeaning services. I quickly realized commercial accounts are really important for our survival. But after two years, we were lucky enough to go into the medical field. This allowed the team to pivot from cleaning homes and offices to cleaning some of the biggest hospitals in the state.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

The biggest leasaon i had to unlearn was trying to do everything myself. Even when i felt pretty capable of doing things alone, it is always easier to trust my team to help me get to the next level. Having a marketing company handle all things social was a life changing moment for me. Trusting on my accountants and CPAs to keep my business on the right side of things was so important. Trusting my employees care as much as i do about my clients and the quality of their work is the best.
