Alright, Luvie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
I would first like to say to everyone out there…..DON’T WAIT TO OFFICIALLY START YOUR BUSINESS!!! I worked a lot of hours and put hard work into a business starting in 2014 but it took me until 2022 to register They Call Me Luv Productions, LLC. with the state and become an official business. I missed out on multiple opportunities including the PPP loan LOL because the business was not official, there are grants and tax breaks that come along with registering your business with the state.
I was in a new phase of life that had me craving the ability to use my gifts and talents, it was a true God push! I didn’t think I needed to make the business official until someone gave me this example: My name is Luvie and they call me luv, so when I am hired for something the paperwork has Luvie on it, but my name is actually Lauren. So when you are hired the payment will be made to your business or name you give……in short….you can’t cash a check with Luvie or They Call Me Luv Productions on it unless you have paperwork and bank accounts to back that up! So lets get legit in this season!
Starting a business sooner can be a game-changer for aspiring entrepreneurs, as it allows for the early exploration of ideas and the chance to learn from mistakes in real time. The landscape of business is ever-evolving, and launching sooner can position you to capitalize on emerging trends and market demands before they become saturated. Additionally, starting early often means having more energy and flexibility to take risks, while the potential for growth is often greater in the early stages of your career. By diving in sooner, you also build valuable connections, refine your skills, and gain insights that can pave the way for long-term success. Ultimately, the sooner you start, the sooner you can turn your vision into reality.

I am a media personality with a background in radio & tv broadcasting holding degrees and certifications for Communications and Radio & TV Broadcasting. I am currently the Host and Producer of the Nominated 2024 Charleston City Paper Best Radio Show #TheyCallMeLuv Podcast that airs on 96.3 FM OHM Radio Charleston. You can tune your dial to 96.3 FM or stream live on OHMRadio963.org on Sundays at 5pm and again on Thursdays at 9pm. The show focuses on “Loving Your Gifts to Push You to Your Purpose!” Each week a a new guest will come and speak about the journeys and knowledge they have learned while walking in their purpose. This podcast was birthed through a calling I knew needed to be answered, and that was to SPEAK! This opened the door to creating They Call Me Luv Productions LLC. where I offers media training, voice overs, hosts events and more. I continues to perfect my craft but also follows the direction from the Most High! I walk in purpose and use my gifts from above to be a go to for prophetic spiritual guidance and dream interpretation. I am the graduate of the WLMI Apostolic Prophetic Academy where I learned about using my prophetic gift for guidance and dream interpretation. Following a calling I created #TheyCallMeLuvDreams a spiritual life coaching and dream interpretation opportunity for those who want to develop their prophetic gifts and receive guidance and support while on your spiritual journey! I offer spiritual readings that can give you insight into what is coming and those things you may need to focus on to understand your path in life. I am truly proud of myself for getting out of my comfort zone and allowing myself to walk into rooms with my head and confident in my gifts to share with others! It was one of the hardest things in my life to truly answer the call and accept that my gift is real and I am supposed to share it! Having a prophetic gift….being a seer…..a psychic some say…..(I don’t like that title as much, I speak on that on one of my shows)……but this gift is a lonely one! Some understand it and accept it, others will give you the side eye, and some want to take advantage of it! Learning all these things (and so much more) made me want to truly speak about it as there as so many of you out there who have these gifts but don’t want to tap in! I urge you to tap in! Abundance lives in the freedom to walk in your calling!

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Being a dreamer was always a mystery growing up and I didn’t know who to talk to about it in depth or if it really meant anything. Later in life I found others who had the same gifts and could help me. That drives me, I know there are so many people sitting on their gifts and if they just made that one push to seek more understanding their whole life would change. I want to help others find those gifts!! As a prophet and dream interpreter, my journey has been a deeply creative and transformative mission. This role allows me to bridge the gap between the spiritual and the tangible, helping individuals uncover profound insights from their dreams and personal experiences. By interpreting dreams, I provide a unique lens through which people can explore their subconscious thoughts, fears, and aspirations. This process not only fosters personal growth but also inspires creative expression, encouraging clients to embrace their unique narratives. My mission is driven by a commitment to guiding others on their spiritual paths, helping them unlock their potential and find meaning in their lives. Through this work, I aim to illuminate the interconnectedness of our dreams and reality, making each interpretation a stepping stone in the creative journey toward self-discovery and fulfillment.
