Lung, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

When I was finishing my university degree, like 1 year ago. Because I really like telling stories when I’m with my friends but also I really like teaching things I’ve learned. So I realized that through content creation I can do both and also I could reach a larger amount of people

Lung, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hello! My name is Lung Wang. I’m 23 y/o and I’m from Chile, but my family is Chinese. I create content about fashion on Instagram (@lung_wang) and Tiktok (@lungwang_).

I started creating content just for the sake of showcasing my outfits, but then I quickly realized that there are not many people into fashion here in Chile. And the creators that makes content about fashion, their main topics are about sneakers and streetwear. But I didn’t want to create the same type of content, so I started to create content about fashion in general. My mainline topic is to teach people about tips that may help them to level up their outfits game.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Yea, I wish there was a blueprint that I could follow about how to start creating content on social media. But I had to figure it out everything. I didn’t knew how to edit a video. Also didn’t knew how instagram works for creators and so on.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I started to upload videos frequently, not every day, but at least 2 times per week. At the beginning the people that watched my videos where skeptical about my content, because I appeared out of nowhere . But then, when I started to gain some followers people started to support my videos.

And the best advice that I can give is the same advice you will hear from every creator, and that is to take action and start creating.
