Luis, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

Connecting with people that come together over something like a drawing or painting. Is so fascinating that we can get together to share our feelings. Building longterm relationships with people that have different thoughts to the table. Keeping the spirit of creation alive!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I just always have had an interest in drawing, then everything else came from there. Drawing has always been my go to when I need to get back to basics. Mostly because its easier, and does not require as much materials and commitment. When I make a painting its usually because its been in the works for a while and I have a sketch of idea.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Connecting with people is the most important aspect about art to me. My dad is people person and I think that rubbed off on me. I just like to have conversations about anything with nice people.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I think what canvas rebel does is a great thing to help out creatives here in Raleigh, I appreciate that!
