Luh, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
My most meaningful project to me by far is “Hood 2 the Mic”. I came up with this project when I was having those up’s and downs. While in the studio with my people I wanted to try something different with my sound. It also gives you a look into a transitional phase I went through.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Luh Michael an artist, songwriter, from Cleveland, Texas. I’m very passionate in what I do. Not only is the music fun to make it’s just natural. I have a big family and everyone has a good taste in music. Growing up in Cleveland you will find that it’s not that many things to do like it is down the highway in Houston. Cleveland really have too much talent to be wasted. So for me stepping into this music industry speaking the real on what I go through. Or what I’ve been through and overcame to how it is having a good time making something out of nothing.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
What’s driving me is my brothers, family, and really the town of Cleveland, Texas. Without them I wouldn’t have this great of a story to tell.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
A time I had to bounce back was when I lost my big momma. It made me realize I short life is. Waking up next to her gone took me to whole different world. Not only that I had to realize who I was and what I have to accomplish.
