Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Luckii Ya Dig . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Luckii , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
My most meaningful project to date would have to be “Hood Ambassador” a recent release. It’s my first EP and I have been blessed to work on a few tracks produced by K.E. On The Track “Corporate Amerika”, “Anthem For The Hustlers”, “Diamonds Are A Girls Bestfriend” and “Patience” are all produced by K.E.. 2 things stick out the most for me with this project, one K.E. On The Track is a Grammy nominated producer and two it’s the project I was able to bring more of myself to the music, my style, my flow, etc. This project taught me how to create a great body of work and what it takes to make hit records. Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think, it’s available on all your streaming services right now just search Luckii Ya Dig.
Luckii , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Whoooaa, Whazzam? My name is Luckii Ya Dig I am a underground hip hop artist with my own record label Stoner Muziik Entertainment. I’m currently based in Atlanta, Ga. Music is in my blood, literally. It’s one of those talents that I’ve always been good at lol. I have had some pretty dope opportunities and accomplishments on the underground scene, a couple of my songs have gotten the attention of some giants in the Music Industry. My single “Buss It Babies” one of the singles released off “Hood Ambassadors” is currently gaining attraction on all platforms, as well as my “Lank Of Luck” freestyle on social media. Im trying to to be added to the list GREATS when music is spoke about. I host Annual “Music & Mental Health Events” to promote my music and other artist while speaking about the many mental health concerns in the music community. Late last year I had the opportunity to work with a artist out of L.A. by the name of Jaq with a huge following on a song called “Gods Hands” also produced by K.E. On The Track. As for the label SME we are doing consulting and artist development with some other upcoming artist in the Atlanta area.
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Support more local artist, entrepreneurs, and brands by believing in them the same way we believe in major artist, businesses, and brands.
We can stop glorifying things that are not helping us evolve as a whole.
Most importantly, don’t be a selfish friend “why be the only friend who knows? thats weird.” Tell a friend so they tell a friend. Let’s all kick down doors together.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I’m just staying true to myself in a world full of people that don’t know who they are. Music has always been my outlet, it allows me to connect Ya Dig?
A specific goal, mmhhh I would love to drop some heat on a Kanye West production.
