We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Luckii Ya Dig . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Luckii below.
Luckii , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Stoner Muziik comes from being born in a drug epidemic era. Tbh drugs “weed, pills, crack, etc” is the one of those thing every hood have in common. My father was a drug dealer, one of the biggest from my city. I used my background as a way to connect with the people. Every drug is fixed on a vibe, a feeling, or a chase, and music does all of those things for me.
I started Stoner Muziik Entertainment LLC., to give myself and other indie artist a opportunity in this music business. At the same time I wanted to protect my artistry to not be shelved or end up in a bad deal that we so often hear about.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Luckii Ya Dig, I’m a artist from New Orleans, La., currently residing in Atlanta, Ga., CEO of Stoner Muziik Entertainment LLC. My step brother is Lil Wayne, so I guess you can say I’ve kinda been in the industry for majority of my life but on the outside. I’m the one no one knows about, yet!
I was always looking to have my own identity away from the whole famous family member title that gets thrown on every celebrity sibling’s name.
I think I’ve managed to keep a good face card from my own grind and hustle apart from my brothers name. For many celebrity siblings who have to live under a famous name individualism is extremely important to us.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Last year I experienced a extreme amount of hardship when it came to pushing the vision forward. I recorded my first project with producer K.E. On The Track, picked out the singles for the project, wrote out the treatments for the videos, hired a videographer to shoot the videos to be on top of my game. When it came time for the videographer to release the footage to me, he proceeded to tell me I was late on releasing my visuals therefore he deleted all of my videos. All the time I spent on getting people to come out and support, the money I spent on hotels, air-bnb’s, and even the money that was paid to him and his team all went down the drain.
Now, I’m actually pressed for time and have already told the producer and fans I would have something ready by a particular date and I don’t have anything. I called the crew, pulled out the stage lights, and pushed record on the iPhone. Long story short the video for “Whooaa Whazzam” received recognition on ATL’s 107.9 indie charts.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Covid-19 pandemic has taught me to always be ready for a shift in view. When you can’t find a way, create a way for yourself, your business, your career, and in life in general.
