We recently connected with Luanne Prima and have shared our conversation below.

Luanne, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?

Yes I love having businesses. It’s a freedom like nothing else. I was a clinical esthetician for many many years and I had my own business Luanne Prima Clinical Skin Care going just to name the first. One day I’ll open a spiritual health spa in Hawaii. All about helping others feel better.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I started in building and developing homes which I love. I think my degree in design and merchandising and my being a sought out makeup artist has allowed me to help my clients with their homes inside and out. I love the colors. They tell a mood. This helps me solve any issue my clients have. I work one client at a time so they have my personal utmost attention as opposed to having to work with several different agents. I believe in great customer service.
Well..The market crashed in 2008 as we know, so I decided to start my own company Prima Properties (we donate 10% of commissions to non profits to put music back in schools and scholarships) . My mom use to drag us to look at homes all the time. I picked orange as my logo color as it was my mom’s favorite color. My goal is to mix Music with Real Estate as my parents are International Music Icons. One of my passions is to help agents make money and be productive as I’ve seen so many drop out. My moto is “When ur smilin the whole world smiles with you “ (My Moms hit song) I always wanted to be International as well and then I found Nestseekers International Beverly Hills . It has allowed me to work with people all over the world. So I took Prima Properties there. Nestseekers Inc is a fantastic company.

Have you ever had to pivot?

I’ve had to pivot several times and each time was either fun or uncomfortable. It’s like leaving your old self behind to become new. Like peeling off an onion but it’s what makes me a better person and understand the values and gratitude in life.
