We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lu Gonzalez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Lu, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s something crazy on unexpected that’s happened to you or your business
As a content creator you are really exposed and people feel free to say anything to you, recently, I made a TikTok video giving my point of view about a situation and I got like really attacked, but, that was actually really good for me because I am building my new TikTok account from cero and far from hurt me they really help me to increase my engagement. So, we can say, everything bad comes with a good in it

Lu, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a journalist, and while I was growing up and graduating, my country’s free speech was less and less, so I moved to social media, now I am not working as a journalist but, I found a great passion into social media, because, I’ve been able to touch people, mostly women, and hopefully in a good way telling them how wonderful we all are doesn’t what

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I am a migrant, I was living in Chile for years, but I was harassed, and was really scared time, I ended up in therapy, and I had to go from there living everything I had build. I came and stared to make content again, and I have been so accepted and love, just arriving I became influencer for one of my favs makeup brands, and I am building my own brand which is AMAZING!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Being real and honest! I thought that if I didn’t present my self kind of “perfect” I will never be accepted, so far from truth! So be yourself it really works
