Hi LPSTYLES , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

As a licensed professional servicing many clients with different hair types and conditions, I observed the commonality of clients who suffer from damaged hair and hair loss. It’s sad to hear from clients that they’ve given up on “loving their hair” due to a lack of knowledge, help, or direction on how to treat their hair. As a professional, it’s up to me to give them the information and tools they need to be successful. This is how I came up with Elle By L Hair Care. I wanted to create products that will assist clients/customers not only in their hair styling needs but help solve hair conditions like hair loss. Not only do my products work, but they are simple to understand and easy to use.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I have an entrepreneurial spirit. I understand supply and demand, and problem and solution. Being away at college everyone is away from their home hairstylist and barber, and so I started offering those services to students on campus just to earn a few extra dollars. I didn’t know I was discovering a new passion. After that, the rest has been history.

Now almost a decade into my career, I have many streams that stem from this one discovery and one is my passion for my business Elle By L Co. What started off as a name for lash extensions, has grown into a company that has an umbrella of wigs, hair extensions, and hair care products. I’m excited to have products that are a go-to stop shop for many, and excited to share our growth with whoever wants to come along.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Staying consistent and determined to be great at what I do has built my reputation in the hair industry. When I first started doing hair, I came out of nowhere. The odd thing was I was actually really good with no prior training. I am what you call a self-taught professional hairstylist. Determined to learn everything I could about each aspect of the industry has kept me relevant, and increased my reputation in the market.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

One way I keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty is by email subscription. Clients and customers can join by visiting the website. It gives me direct contact to share information such as promotions, updates, and new products. One other source I use is the blog section of the website. The post includes many topics that our subscribers and visitors can relate to. Not only are we educating on new trends, but giving tips, tricks, and knowledge on topics like porosity, or how to create a hair regimen for damaged hair.

I also use social media as a vehicle to maintain relationships. Consistently posting and updating my platforms.
