We were lucky to catch up with Lounjie Tacheline Mathurin recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lounjie Tacheline, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
I’ve never been afraid of taking risks, especially when it comes to my career and creating the kind of financial freedom and life I envision for myself.
My journey has never followed a traditional path. I’ve always been someone willing to step outside of my comfort zone and bet on myself. It started with my passion for fashion and content creation. I began creating fashion videos, sharing my style online, and building a personal brand from the ground up. At a time when many people didn’t understand content creation as a career path, I took the risk of putting myself out there, being visible, and pursuing opportunities that aligned with my creativity.
That eventually led to styling artists and working behind the scenes in the fashion and beauty space. Every opportunity required me to trust my instincts, learn quickly, and embrace uncertainty. There were no guarantees, but each experience taught me valuable lessons about branding, marketing, networking, and entrepreneurship.
One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was leaving the comfort of a traditional paycheck to become a full-time real estate agent. Real estate is one of those careers where your success depends entirely on your ability to build relationships, stay consistent, and keep going even when results aren’t immediate. It was intimidating because there was no guaranteed income, but I believed in my ability to create opportunities and serve people at a high level.
That decision challenged me in ways I never expected, but it also helped me grow tremendously. I’ve had the privilege of helping families achieve homeownership, building a business from the ground up, and proving to myself that taking calculated risks can lead to incredible rewards.
Looking back, every risk I’ve taken from fashion content creator, to stylist, to full-time realtor has shaped who I am today. Each one taught me that growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone, and that sometimes the biggest opportunities come from being willing to take the leap before you feel completely ready.

Lounjie Tacheline, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Lounjie T Dayoute Mathurin , and I am a Realtor, content creator, and fashion enthusiast based in Central Florida. At my core, I am passionate about helping people elevate their lives whether that’s through finding the right home, building confidence through personal style, or inspiring others to pursue their goals fearlessly.
My journey into real estate wasn’t a traditional one. Before becoming a Realtor, I spent years creating fashion and lifestyle content, building an online presence, and working with brands and artists. Fashion was my first creative outlet and taught me the power of branding, storytelling, and connecting with people. Through content creation, I discovered that I loved helping people feel confident, informed, and inspired.
Over time, I realized that my passion extended beyond fashion. I wanted to make a tangible impact in people’s lives, and real estate gave me the opportunity to do exactly that. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions a person will ever make, and I wanted to be someone people could trust throughout that process. Taking the leap into real estate was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Today, I specialize in helping first-time homebuyers, families, and members of the Haitian community navigate the home-buying process throughout central & South Florida. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, unsure of where to start, or convinced that homeownership is out of reach. I help simplify the process, educate them on available programs, and guide them every step of the way so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with people on a personal level. I understand that real estate isn’t just about transactions it’s about dreams, goals, family, and building a future. I take pride in being approachable, honest, and committed to providing a high level of service. I strive to make every client feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Outside of real estate, I continue to embrace my love for fashion, beauty, and content creation. These passions allow me to express my creativity while building a brand that reflects who I truly am. I believe that women can be multifaceted we can be entrepreneurs, professionals, creators, wives, mothers, and visionaries all at the same time.
One of the things I am most proud of is having the courage to reinvent myself multiple times. From content creator to stylist, to Realtor and entrepreneur, each chapter has required faith, resilience, and a willingness to take risks. Those experiences have shaped me into the woman I am today.
The main thing I want people to know about me is that I genuinely care. Whether you’re looking to buy a home, seeking inspiration, or simply following my journey, my goal is to create value, build authentic relationships, and show others that it’s possible to pursue a life that aligns with both your purpose and your passions.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Without a doubt, the most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been social media.
I’ve always believed that people do business with people they know, like, and trust. Social media has allowed me to build that trust long before a client ever reaches out to me. By consistently sharing my life, my real estate knowledge, home tours, market insights, fashion content, and personal experiences, I’ve been able to create genuine connections with my audience.
What makes social media so powerful is that it allows people to see who I am beyond being a Realtor. They get to know my personality, my values, my work ethic, and the way I serve my clients. As a result, many of my clients feel like they already know me before our first conversation.
For me, it’s been one of the most cost-effective and impactful ways to attract clients, grow my network, and establish credibility in my industry.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
One of the books that has had the greatest impact on my entrepreneurial mindset is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.
The book challenged the way I thought about money, financial freedom, and wealth building. It introduced me to the idea that working for a paycheck and building assets are two very different paths. More importantly, it encouraged me to think like an entrepreneur rather than an employee and to view opportunities, investments, and business ownership through a different lens.
As someone who has built a career in both content creation and real estate, many of the lessons from the book resonated with me. It reinforced the importance of taking calculated risks, investing in yourself, and creating multiple streams of income rather than relying on a single source of revenue.
One of the biggest takeaways for me was understanding that financial freedom comes from ownership, education, and long-term thinking. That mindset has influenced many of the decisions I’ve made throughout my career and continues to shape how I approach business, personal growth, and wealth creation today.
