We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Louisa Warwick a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Louisa , thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Thank you for interviewing me! I first started Social Acceleration Group two days after graduating from NYU. It began as a Celebrity Instagram Sweepstakes company and has now evolved into a Marketing, Advertising, and PR agency over the years. The bulk of what we do is Public Relations—we put all sorts of clients in the press, from entrepreneurs, fashion models, influencers, and reality stars to anyone looking to gain media exposure.
Every service offered at Social Acceleration Group was created to meet a demand I couldn’t find elsewhere. For example, when we started as a sweepstakes business, we provided a low-cost alternative for organically growing your Instagram with U.S.-based female followers. Now, with our PR services, we primarily offer press coverage on a per-article basis, disrupting the typical, expensive retainer model. Our PR services are an excellent solution for those who want to avoid the lengthy, costly retainers that many other PR firms require. We have successfully published clients in some of the most coveted publications in the world, including The New York Times, Forbes, The New York Post, The Daily Mail, and more. Additionally, we have helped many clients go viral and significantly boost their careers.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
What sets us apart is our commitment to innovation and accessibility. Each service we offer was designed to solve a specific challenge I encountered in the market. For example, our early sweepstakes model offered an affordable way for clients to grow their Instagram organically with U.S.-based, female followers. In PR, we’ve disrupted the traditional retainer model by offering per-article pricing, giving clients a flexible and cost-effective way to access high-quality press coverage without long-term commitments.
I’m incredibly proud of the results we’ve achieved for our clients. Many have gone viral, expanded their brands, or taken their careers to new heights after working with us. It’s deeply rewarding to see how our work helps others achieve their dreams.
For anyone considering working with us, I want them to know that Social Acceleration Group is more than just a PR or marketing agency—we’re your partner in growth and care about you and your goals. Whether you’re looking to boost your public image, increase brand awareness, or solve a specific marketing challenge, we’re here to provide solutions that deliver real, measurable results.
Ultimately, I’m passionate about creating opportunities where none existed before and helping my clients stand out in competitive markets. I believe that’s what makes Social Acceleration Group unique and what drives our continued success.

Let’s move on to buying businesses – can you talk to us about your experience with business acquisitions?
Yes! I recently acquired Muzique Magazine, and I’m incredibly excited about this new chapter. Muzique is a renowned publication that focuses on music, entertainment, and lifestyle, highlighting emerging artists and showcasing creative talent from all over the world. It’s a platform with a rich history and a unique voice in the industry, and I saw tremendous potential to grow and expand its reach.
I decided to purchase Muzique Magazine because of my passion for storytelling and PR. As someone who has always been deeply connected to media, marketing, and PR, acquiring the magazine felt like a natural extension of my work with Social Acceleration Group. It allows me to merge my expertise in public relations with the power of publishing, offering even more value to clients while supporting the creative community.
The acquisition process was both exciting and challenging. It required a great deal of research, negotiation, and planning to ensure the transition was smooth for everyone involved. I took time to understand the magazine’s operations, its audience, and its content strategy to see how I could enhance its offerings while staying true to its roots. Bringing my vision to life meant assembling the right team, strategizing for growth, and identifying new opportunities to elevate the brand in today’s fast-paced digital landscape.
One of my goals with Muzique Magazine is to continue its legacy while modernizing its approach to content. I’m looking forward to creating engaging stories, building partnerships, and leveraging the magazine’s platform to give artists and creatives the recognition they deserve!!

How did you build your audience on social media?
My Instagram currently has over 140,000 followers, the majority of whom are based in the U.S. and are female which is great demographics for working with brands. Building this audience has been a journey of consistent effort and leveraging unique opportunities over the years. It all started with my appearance on Britain’s Next Top Model back in 2012 which gave me my first exposure to a broader audience. From there, things began to take off—I modeled for Calvin Klein, appeared in GQ, got published in The Daily Mail many times, worked as a fashion model in NYC, all of which contributed to organic growth on my account.
Another major factor was collaborating with clients and brands that had significant social media followings. I worked with them on campaigns and projects that naturally led to cross-promotion and exposure. Instagram giveaways were also instrumental in boosting my follower count, as they offered an effective way to engage new female audiences. Most recently, being part of Netflix’s Squid Game: The Challenge brought another wave of followers who connected with me through the show.
The growth wasn’t linear—it happened in bursts, each tied to specific appearances in the media, other brands or social media collaborations.
For anyone starting out, my advice is to focus on authenticity and consistency. Share what makes you unique and build a genuine connection with your audience. Collaborating with others in your industry can also help amplify your reach. Lastly, stay open to opportunities that might come your way—you never know which one will lead to the next big burst in your following!
