We were lucky to catch up with Louie Pello recently and have shared our conversation below.

Louie , appreciate you joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

Dropping Purple Static was a defining moment for me as an Artist . Seeing it on Spotify and all the other major streaming platforms was really cool. It had been a dream for so long so seeing it come to fruition was special

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I think growing up in Kentucky gave me an interesting perspective of music and culture in general. I have an appreciation of all genres of music and the unique heartstrings each one can pull. I was blessed to have an Uncle put a fender Stratocaster in my hands at age 11 which changed my interests and course in life. I fell in love with writing not long after and naturally the two hobbies combined by the time I hit highschool. I never had any second thoughts or hang ups , creating music and being an artist was priority #1 and still is . I don’t try to stick with a certain genre but I do try to stay within a certain vibe and message which is honesty, I write what I see and feel.

I’ve performed a lot these past few years which has brought me a ton of love and confidence. Meeting new people and watching their reaction to my performance and the songs is priceless. Fans that have kept up with me for years and share how much my songs mean to them is amazing and life changing. I’m blessed and I love what I do.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

Just a lot of self doubt and low confidence. I still have to work on these things but over time I’ve grown a lot and performing in front of great crowds has made that even easier. Learn to love yourself and appreciate your own authenticity

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

To be the best version of me , 100%. Im obsessed with seeing that version of myself.
