We were lucky to catch up with Lost Ravens recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lost, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
As a music producer, I learned how to make trap beats / EDM watching tutorials and spending endless days inside my room tweaking every single minor detail. Hindsight is always 20/20 but looking back, I spent a lot of time studying in school (culture thing) and trying to be something that I was not. If had put more effort towards music maybe I could’ve progressed faster? I feel like if I had focused more on alternative ways to fund my music endeavours I would have made much better progress. As time moved on and I grew up I realized that maintaining discipline is the most essential thing when it comes to making music. The discipline to finish the projects you have started definitely gives a huge confidence boost that you can build upon.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Bibs aka Lost Ravens and I am a Kathmandu-born, currently-Malta-based record producer who has been glued to this DAW ever since he decided to take his musical interests to the next level. Heavily influenced by different genres of music, I try to blend immersive atmospheric sounds, recorded instruments, and a sprinkle of lofi vibe here and there to bring you a combination of different flavors of music.
I got into music production when I was 15 and it has definitely shaped me into the person I am today. I have released songs with a couple of independent labels as well.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I have been through several surgeries in the past and struggled a lot with my health. I have moved countries multiple times because of immigration issues and despite that I have finally reached a point in my life in which I can keep releasing music and travel the world at the same time. There was a time in which I thought that I would never be able to walk again and my musical journey was over, but despite that, I am still here standing
