We recently connected with Lonique M King and have shared our conversation below.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hello America, My name is Lonique M King Co-Founder of Nana’s Naturals LLC. My family started this company in 2019 with the determination to create all natural solutions for people who suffer from chronic pain.
Over 10 years ago I was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis Of Bilateral Hips (AVN). I was only 28 and full of life. At the time I thought AVN was a death sentence. I became immobile very quickly. Unable to play catch with my 5 year old son, get dressed alone and other daily living activities. My energy was depleted and I felt like a burden to my husband and my parents.
This was a life changing experience but I had faith God would give me grace. I began praying and meditating and it lead me to start to study my condition and different all natural solutions. It lead me to Florida in 2015 where I received stem cell regeneration in place of a lifetime of mind altering chemical substances.
I then began to discover the benefits of CBD on my road to recovery after my treatment. I decided to further my education at Learn Sativa University in Apopka, FL. In 2019 we then decided to add some old family recipes with cbd for an all natural organic product.
We aim to help assist our customers in finding essential products that will help benefit them from an array of different ailments. CBD has been used for many years in different medical studies and know to help with chronic pain and so much more. It’s always best to consult your physician for expert medical advice.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
For our company the best source of new clients is going to events and shows/farmers markets, I feel like people want to meet the owners and be able to ask questions about your products. We also like giving out samples.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
We feel social media is definitely an important key factor in growing any audience in 2023. We also rely on that good old fashion word of mouth advertising. Sharing a good product speaks for itself. So for us doing different events and passing out samples of our products has definitely increased our clientele.
