Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Loni Paulsen. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Loni, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?
It’s been a pretty challenging & slow road. As part of a military family, we were always moving around so having to start over from scratch again and again was hard. Another part was being a mom. I just couldn’t drop my responsibilities & go to events/castings.
So unfortunately, there were certain things that I was really interested in but unfortunately, had to decline or skip. Another obstacle I have faced is my size. I’m short but mighty so even though I’m talented I oftentimes get overlooked. And now, even with my most recent obstacle with health issues, having to switch up my content to adjust my lifestyle has been quite difficult.
Everything comes with trial & error, so I have learned to pivot a lot. You have to be able to accept No & rejection and turn it into a redirection. I try and make my nos into Opportunities.
I was doing this fashion show one time with a few designers and I ended up walking for one that I wasn’t originally picked for but at the last minute put me in. After the show he came up and apologized for being so judgmental and applauded me for crushing it and doing such a good job.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’ve modeled and have done pageants since I was little. Over time, I started sharing my fitness journey, my love for fashion, & the products I used on my social platforms and modeling for local events. Then, it took off from there!
Now, I’m walking in runway shows, doing commercial & print modeling as well as working with some pretty big national brands like Premier Protein & more!
I’m in the marketing and entertainment industry. I specialize in networking and sharing my love for everyday life, products & activities, helping brands to grow & engage with their audience.
I’m known for having a positive mindset & sharing body positivity while helping others to learn how to do as well. I’m most proud of being a mom to a beautiful daughter. I believe that what sets me apart from others is having an eccentric personality, being authentic, very goal-oriented, and staying true to myself.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Showing up as my authentic self and sharing my life with others, being Vulnerable & passionate has really helped build a community. I also use Networking, connecting, & engaging with people. It’s the biggest help when it comes to growing your brand or platform.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Just to be kind, network, help one another grow, learn & support. Not everything needs to a competition.
In fact , I’m part of a creative group that does meetups just for networking/collaborating purposes!
