Lone, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I am a jewelry influencer. it all began when I was growing up in a very strict Christian household. We attended the seventh day Adventist church which did not allow any kind of jewelry or piercings. This was very hard for me because I loved jewelry and it was always a passion of mine to have the best jewelry collection and to have piercings. So I secretly started wearing jewelry to special events and at school without my parents finding out. however, as I started university and had a little more freedom to express myself, I managed to bloom into the jewelry fanatic that I am and now I have over 15 piercings. Now I want to share my love and expertise on jewelry to everyone so that they can be helped to start their own jewelry journey just like I did !

My government name is Lone Malefho but I am commonly known as Lone’s Jewelry Journal. I am a jewelry influencer. I specialize in jewelry styling , stacking and stunting tips. I have a talent in turning bland outfits into glamorous ones using just jewelry. With my tips and tricks , one is able to figure out which jewelry is fitting for a specific outfit and how to upscale it . I also provide insight on the different styles of jewelry that are appropriate for places such as work, an evening night out or a wedding. it is an understatement to say that I love jewelry. I live, eat and breathe jewelry. I want potential followers to learn how to style themselves and achieve the look that they are going for through my brand. I want potential followers to learn how to independently stack their jewelry and buy jewelry that suits their own personal style.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
my ultimate goal is not much, it is to teach people that you do not need expensive items or clothes in order to look luxurious. All you need are a nice necklace, stunning earrings and a bold bracelet, i.e. jewelry. Jewelry can elevate any outfit whether its a sporty look or a night out look. I want people to use jewelry to feel beautiful and confident no matter what!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I think for me it is when my idea comes to life. In the case of me being a jewelry influencer, I pride myself in seeing the work of jewelry elevating any outfit from boring to beautiful! it gives me immense joy to see that people are taking my advice while adding their own twists to it.
