We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Logan Martin. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Logan below.
Logan, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear stories from your time in school/training/etc.
I have to give a shout out to my anatomy teacher from Massage school here. Without him, I wouldn’t have finished my Massage education. He was one of the first teachers to step outside of traditional schooling education support systems. When I was struggling with my mental health, he was someone who showed me that there were tools to help me reach my end goal!
In a time I didn’t feel seen or important. He reminded me that my gifts will bring joy to the world, but also to myself.
I enrolled in Massage school as a back up plan. However, due to Jimmy Gialis’ investment in my education, Massage Therapy became such a big love of my life.
Massage therapy education naturally has Eastern healing modalities built into the curriculum. These modalities are ancient and differ from western modalities in that they look at the whole body. These deep knowledges opened my eyes to new ways of walking through the world, new ways to approach how I was living my life, and how my healing would bring healing to others!
Jimmy has stayed my mentor over the years and as his business grows; He’s been someone to always support other small businesses. His support and encouragement has been something I’ve appreciated through all of the years of knowing him!
I aim to embody his support, truth, and love always!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My favorite service to offer is a combination of hands-on massage therapy, Reiki, sound healing all in the comfort of the clients home. I started offering massage therapy in clients homes in 2011. As I’ve added to my knowledge of healing, (and healed parts of myself) it allows me to facilitate specific healing to my clients. I enjoy house calls because I have discovered clients drop into a deeper sense of relaxation in a comfortable, familiar place!
I also offer group healings at different locations, 3 to 4 times a month. You can find me at yoga studios, neighborhood pools, retreats, and online is coming soon :) Holding space is my calling!
I started my education and healing journey with Massage Therapy. This program opened my world to a plethora of healing avenues. With 10+ years of experience working with Massage clients, a true testament to healing was that each human needs a different approach. Our healing, our journeys, our pasts are each their own.
In 2018, I became Reiki certified. Reiki showed me a new healing path and it took me a couple of years to feel comfortable offering Reiki healing to clients. I had some deep healing to do on my own. Reiki definition is universal life force energy. The most amazing discovery Reiki has brought me is that I get to meet clients where they are at. We are each perfect in different ways in the present moment. Reiki calls you to remember this!
The most recent healing tool I’ve been introduced to is Sound Therapy. My sound therapy sessions include crystal singing bowls each attuned to specific chakra. Rain-sticks, tuning forks, drums and wind-chimes are also used. Each instrument is used to align natural frequency’s in the body.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy to grow clientele was being authentic. There is a lot of noise out there that clouded my judgment; who I thought I should be and what services I thought people wanted. Once I found the autonomy to offer services I knew where authentic to my skill set and what I felt comfortable holding space for, clients came streaming in. My mindset was what changed and not necessarily my services. In the beginning of my career, my thought process was to never turn away a client. Now my mindset is, the clients truly needing my services will find me. The law of attraction is real.
For my house call services, I only take new clients who’ve been referred by my current clients. By doing so, I keep myself safe. I’ve also found that word-of-mouth from friends and family has been my number one way of receiving new clients. Clients telling their friends and family about their experience is the biggest compliment!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What helped me build my reputation is being consistent. I’ve been a massage therapist for 13 years. I consistently fall back to my massage education, specifically eastern methods of healing the body as a whole. My approach over the years has always been to hold space for the physical, but also the mental and emotional. I’d like for my reputation to be a holistic practitioner. No matter the tools used, I offer my clients natural healing modalities that meet them where they are at.
