Alright, Loah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Well as a musicial artist for some time now I would always put my eggs in someone else basket so whenever they felt it wasn’t working for them and they didn’t believe no more they could just got get a regular job and stop chasing the dream which would Leave me left to start all over from scratch the business would be in there name etc long story short me and a family member was talking one day and we juggled on a few names and I said it would have to have meaning for me use it I pick the letters (CmNent) LLC which stands for count me in because i always felt counted out then I use it in crossover for others who ever felt they were counted out as well I had my sister Lisa draw up a logo for the brand she does all my work always had my back we all know things cost money and I didn’t have none at that moment but yes I made merch wit the brand and sold tshirts they sold like hotcakes From Richmond Virginia to North Carolina I also had people take pictures wit the shirt on for social media purposes while saying count me in I know rt then I had somthing just off of the logo alone I had the business goin on 2yrs so I’m still learning as I go but I’m never lookin back you have to follow that gut feeling who knows u just might be right also I forgot to mention I did this all from a iPhone 12 in my gma house in one day shout out to legal zoom you can start your business whenever u ready and they take away the headache of paperwork with a registered agent

So we was responsible of getting webbie to the airport in my sister car true story hard to believe but it happened lol

How did you build your audience on social media?
Well I’m in the entertainment business I can probably only help those who seeks the same audience but one tip for everyone far as social media go to stats school if your are totally loss on there it’s good to have great content the main winner in our field is attention grab stop in mid scroll you have to steal there attention high resolution content the right words in description never to Many hashtags 3 to 4 tops maybe 5 but you can shadowbanned quick wit to many what else follow community guidelines post everyday but 3 4 times a day that’s ridiculous run ads target your market to corner the market also main one make sure that you have your business tax id number hooked up to your social media so you can keep that money off your plays goin to your bank account pretty much for Instagram Fb the same etc
