Lizeth , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

The story behind my mission is simple yet profound , I live and breathe the art of documenting beautiful memories .My passion lies in capturing moments that will forever hold a special place in someone’s heart, mind, and soul moments that remind them of the beauty in their lives and the deep love they share with their loved ones. Every image I create is a tribute to connection, emotion, and timeless storytelling.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Lizeth, and I am a proud daughter of two immigrants who came to the U.S. to give me and my siblings the opportunity to live the American Dream to become something in this country.

I am the proud owner of Lizz Photography, specializing in wedding and lifestyle photography.

I honestly can’t tell you the exact moment I fell in love with photography all I know is that, by the age of 3, I already had a camera in my hands, documenting life. I was about 15 years old when I bought my very first camera with money I had saved from working long, hot summer days in the fields, picking fruit.

As the years went by, I continued capturing memories from senior portraits to maternity photos using just my iPhone camera.

Fast forward to 2022, when I married the love of my life. During that time, I was serving on the media team at @E2Church, and it was there that I rediscovered my passion and love for photography. I found so much beauty in capturing people being embraced by God’s presence as He filled the room with love and grace. That’s when I thought to myself: “Wow, I can capture this same beauty in weddings!”

There’s something so incredible about witnessing two people, equally yoked, become one. The love they’re surrounded with on that special day gives me butterflies every single time. And the fact that I get to experience that joy while providing my clients with beautiful memories that will last a lifetime that makes everything so worth it.

How did you build your audience on social media?

As a creative, posting on social media can be really challenging. Every time you’re about to hit “post,” a million thoughts run through your head:

Will other creatives like my work?
What if they think it’s ugly?
Will clients even want to hire me to capture their special day?

It’s a cycle that plays on repeat EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. YOU. POST.

But one thing I’ve learned (as simple as it may sound) is: Just post it.

I started sharing my work consistently posting like crazy, making reels, and engaging with other creatives — and honestly, it changed everything. I built a community around documenting my work and life, and now people actually look forward to what I share.

I get told all the time how much my content inspires them… and that makes all the doubts worth pushing through.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding part of being a photographer is that clients continue to come back to you for every season of their lives from proposals, engagements, and weddings to maternity sessions and beyond.

It brings me so much joy to not only document these milestones but to build real friendships with my clients. The trust they place in me to capture their memories means the world and seeing their reactions to the final results? That’s everything.

Literally everything about my job is so rewarding, and I’m truly grateful for every opportunity I get to create and be part of someone’s story.
