We recently connected with Lizeth Lopez and have shared our conversation below.

Lizeth, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

Well I have always wanted to open my own business, more specifically a coffee shop. So I made the decision to make that dream come true and I quit my job and started all the preparations to get my business started. I decided to do a Creperie because my husband told me “there are a lot of coffee shops around you need something that will make you stand out something different”, and when my kids were younger I would always make them crepes when they were younger so I decided to combine the two and created Chez Lizeth Creperie.

Lizeth, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hi everyone! My name is Lizeth Lopez and I am the owner of Chez Lizeth Creperie. I have worked in the restaurant industry for about 10 years now and I am a mother of three. At Chez Lizeth Creperie the main thing we offer are French inspired crepes. We have sweet, savory and breakfast crepes which majority of them can be made gluten free as well so there are a lot of different options for you to chose from! We also offer lots of different coffee options which can be decaffeinated if needed!

Our restaurant, and I say our because i consider my husband and kids to be owners as well, is French inspired because I will admit I am obsessed with France so we decorated it with many many flowers and our plate ware is all china and really pretty glass cups. We make sure all of the food and beverages come out perfect for a great instagram photo opportunity!

I would say that the thing I’m most proud of would be just the amount of dedication, time and effort we put into creating a great new space for everyone to enjoy. We always try to have our clients feel as welcome and comfortable as we can.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

There are many different ways in which we have been able to gain new clients but one of the biggest ones would have to be through social media. We try to promote as much as we can whether it’s through our own social media platform.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.

I would have to consider myself lucky in this instance because my business partner/cofounder is my husband! We have been married for 25 years now and well we stared the business together from the bottom up.
