We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Liv Fox. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Liv below.
Hi Liv, thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Liv Fox Design started from my passion for creating spaces that truly support beauty and wellness professionals. As an esthetician and business owner, I know how important it is to work in a space that feels aligned with your brand—where everything flows and enhances both your work and the client experience.
I knew I could fill a gap by offering a thoughtful, consultative approach—one that focuses on functionality, flow, and bringing a brand’s vision to life. What excites me most is seeing the transformation, not just in the space, but in how my clients feel—empowered, confident, and ready to thrive.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My journey into this field began in 2016, when I first became an esthetician and later opened my own skincare studio. Over the years, I realized how crucial it is to work in a space that truly reflects your brand and enhances both your workflow and client experience. That realization sparked my passion for designing spaces that empower professionals to thrive in environments that align with their vision and values.
Through Liv Fox Design, we work together to create a space that’s as inspiring and energizing as the work you do. By collaborating closely, we design environments that reflect your brand and values, while making sure everything flows seamlessly for both you and your clients. Whether we’re optimizing a treatment room or reimagining your entire space, my goal is to help you craft a space that’s not just functional—but exciting, empowering, and ready to leave a lasting impression.
What sets me apart is my understanding of the beauty and wellness industry from the inside out. As someone who has worked both behind the scenes as a business owner as well as a service provider, I bring a unique perspective that combines industry experience with creative problem-solving. My approach is highly collaborative and consultative, which means I’m not just creating a space—I’m helping my clients align their vision, values, and goals with the environment around them.
I’m most proud of the transformation I get to witness in my clients. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone step into a space that feels like theirs—a space that reflects their brand and supports their success. For potential clients, I want you to know that my work is about more than just design. It’s about helping you feel confident and empowered in the space where you do your best work.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
One of the most impactful books for me has been Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. She brings a refreshing, no-nonsense energy to the idea of creativity—encouraging us to dive in with curiosity and courage, without waiting for perfection. It completely reshaped how I approach my work, reminding me that creativity thrives when we embrace the mess, take risks, and trust that the magic happens when we let go of fear.
Another book that deeply resonated with me is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It’s a beautiful story about following your dreams and the importance of perseverance. It reminded me that the journey itself is just as important as the destination, and that each step along the way is filled with valuable lessons.
For podcasts, I find Don’t Depend on Daddy a great resource for personal finance, and Facial Finance by Green Envee offers valuable insights for beauty and wellness professionals navigating the entrepreneurial journey. Both have provided me with practical advice that’s been essential for managing and growing my business.
These resources have been invaluable in shaping my approach to business, reminding me to stay curious, intentional, and true to my values.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I’ve had to unlearn—and one I’m still actively working on—is letting go of expectations and learning how to get out of my own way. Early on, I had this belief that if I set high expectations for myself, I would push myself to succeed. But what I found was that the pressure of those expectations often held me back. I became too focused on the “perfect outcome” and started to overthink or second-guess myself, which ultimately led to frustration and stagnation.
It wasn’t until I embraced the idea of letting things unfold more naturally that I began to see real progress. I had to learn that growth isn’t always linear and that it’s okay to take imperfect steps along the way. Now, I’m learning to trust the process, stay flexible, and give myself space to just be in the moment, knowing that things will fall into place as they should. This has been one of the most freeing lessons I’ve unlearned, and it’s something I’m still practicing every day.
