One of the toughest things about progressing in your career is that there are almost always unexpected problems that come up – problems that you often can’t read about in advance, can’t prepare for, etc. Have you had such and experience and if so, can you tell us the story of one of those unexpected problems you’ve encountered?

I started my business in 2016 in honor of my father-in-law, who was a realtor and always encouraged me to pursue this path. After his passing in fall 2015, I began my real estate classes and earned my license in January 2016.
With experience managing my sister’s property since 2003, I now focus on helping clients buy and sell their homes. I provide a wide range of services, from finding lenders and staging homes to offering emotional support and even delivering meals when needed.
What sets me apart is my knowledge, responsiveness, and dependability. I pride myself on strong communication and negotiation skills, which are essential in solving unexpected challenges that can arise during transactions. I am passionate about helping clients find homes they love while providing the support they need throughout the process.
As your local real estate expert, my primary goal is to assist you in finding the right home and providing valuable market information tailored to your priorities. I create a safe space for questions and discussions, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me is referrals. Satisfied clients are my greatest advocates, and their recommendations speak volumes about the level of service I provide. I believe in building strong relationships based on trust and communication, which encourages my clients to share their positive experiences with friends and family. This word-of-mouth support not only helps me grow my business but also reinforces my commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
As a business owner, I believe in the power of adaptability. Life, and business, are constantly evolving, and I’ve learned that to thrive, we must pivot and grow with them. When I first opened my brokerage, I knew I wanted to offer more than just traditional real estate services. Property management was an obvious addition—having worked in this field earlier in my career, I recognized the growing need for integrated services. My background in property management gave me the insight to see how it could enhance the overall experience for my clients, especially investors. Over time, it became clear that offering comprehensive support in this area would create more value for my clients, and it’s been rewarding to see this vision come to life.”
“But it doesn’t stop there. As I continue to grow my business, I’m in the process of opening a second brokerage, this time with a unique vision for our agents.
