We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lisa Wisely. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lisa below.
Lisa, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
Yes—and it began long before I knew what a career was. I’ve been working since I was 8 years old, cleaning floors and dusting jukeboxes at my grandmother’s bar in West New York, NJ. In exchange, I got Slim Jims, Cheese Doodles, and Shirley Temples—along with an early understanding that being a “good girl,” working hard, and staying quiet earned me attention and praise from adults.
That belief shaped everything. I became the caretaker, the fixer, the people pleaser—especially as I navigated the devastating loss of my father, mother, and younger sister to cancer over a nine-year span. I built a business, Blue Spark Creative, around helping others shine—managing the details so they didn’t have to—but always stayed behind the scenes, afraid to take up space myself.
The defining moment came during a group hypnotherapy workshop. Over 100 women were on Zoom, all sharing the same experience: being told to be quiet, to be good, to stay small. Something clicked. I realized I wasn’t alone—and I was done hiding.
That moment changed everything. I became a Rapid Transformational Therapist and coach, now helping women reclaim their power, their voice, and their radiance. Through RTT and coaching, I’ve helped women shed weight, silence self-doubt, grow thriving businesses, and find love again. I help them stop shrinking and start shining.
I am now a Rapid Transformational Therapist and coach, using hypnotherapy and coaching to help women find true joy as they reclaim their sense of self and sense of power. This kind of work can be done in person or over Zoom, takes 60-120 minutes a session and brings about immediate relief, allowing women to examine how they lost their voice, their power, their ability to prioritize self. I’ve helped women grow their businesses because they believe in themselves after years of negative talk. I’ve helped women shed weight and manage menopause gracefully. I’ve helped women find love after years of telling themselves they were absolutely unlovable. I’ve helped women transform from being quiet and afraid to being powerful and bold leaders who are ready to be in the limelight after years of hiding in the shadows.

Lisa, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I studied Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) under its founder, the world-renowned therapist Marisa Peer. I completed the intensive online coursework and then traveled to Amsterdam for in-person training with Marissa, where I refined my skills in this life-changing methodology. I am now a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Coach, with a specialized certification in Sleep Coaching to help clients overcome insomnia and other sleep disorders.
RTT is a powerful, hybrid therapeutic approach that combines the best of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). It’s designed to deliver rapid, lasting change by uncovering and rewiring the root beliefs that drive unwanted behaviors, habits, or emotional patterns—often in just one to three sessions.
Through hypnosis, RTT helps clients access the subconscious mind to discover the moment those limiting beliefs were formed—usually in childhood or during emotionally charged experiences. Once uncovered, those beliefs are reframed, rewired, and replaced with new, empowering ones. Clients then listen to a personalized audio recording for 21 days to solidify the transformation.
I’m deeply proud of the transformations I’ve witnessed. I’ve had clients call me and say, “You’re a witch!”—because something they’ve struggled with for years suddenly lifted after just one session. I’ve helped people quit smoking, reduce or eliminate drinking, overcome public speaking and performance anxiety, and break free from crippling fear and low self-esteem. I’ve seen clients dissolve childhood trauma, heal skin conditions and physical ailments, and finally sleep through the night after years of restlessness.
Most profoundly, I’ve helped people rediscover self-love, confidence, and their own personal power—leaving toxic relationships, stepping into dream careers, and finally believing they are worthy of love and success.
This work is not only effective—it’s life-changing. And I feel honored every day to be a part of someone’s transformation.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
In both of my businesses—Blue Spark Creative (Marketing & Business Management) and Blue Spark Coaching (Hypnotherapy & Coaching)—my reputation has been built on personal relationships. Every conversation, every interaction is grounded in connection and trust. Being authentic, genuinely curious, open, and helpful has made me someone people feel comfortable working with and recommending.
You can have the most beautiful social media presence or website in the world, but if you’re not truly showing up for people—listening, delivering, and caring—none of that matters. My reputation has grown because I consistently do what I say I’ll do, and I do it with heart.
When I moved to Delhi, New York in 2014, I didn’t know a soul. I got involved—I joined boards, Chambers of Commerce, and community groups—but more importantly, I listened. I took time to learn from the people around me before offering ideas or advice. I believe coming into any community or market with all the answers is a red flag—it signals a lack of respect for the people who’ve already done the work. Building trust means understanding the why behind decisions before jumping in with your own.
And lastly, I believe in giving before asking. When you lead with generosity, people naturally want to work with you, support you, and grow alongside you.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I was working as the Marketing Director for Blue Man Group when my world began to shift. My father was diagnosed with throat cancer, then my mother with breast cancer, and eventually, my younger sister with lung cancer. Over the course of nine years, I lost all three of them. Their illnesses—and their passing—shattered me, but they also awakened something profound.
Even in the midst of their suffering, I began to notice the connection between emotional pain and physical illness. I could see how stress, trauma, and unprocessed emotions affected the way we treat our bodies. That insight eventually led me to pursue hypnotherapy and coaching—not just as a career shift, but as a mission. I knew I wanted to help people heal, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally.
After their deaths, I left New York City and moved to Delaware County. I poured my energy into building my business, giving back to the community, and showing up for others in a way that felt deeply meaningful. I joined boards, volunteered, and found healing in service. And through that, I discovered a level of strength I didn’t know I had.
All that I’ve endured—the grief, the loss, the rebuilding—has made me resilient. It’s given me the emotional capacity to sit with clients in their darkest moments and help them move through it. I don’t just teach resilience—I do my best every day to live it. And I bring that lived experience into every session I do.
