We were lucky to catch up with Lisa Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.

Lisa , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

The story behind my mission t Is to give those seeking a safe place the tools and information to do so. After recently retiring from the military with PTSD, I struggled reintegrating myself back into society.

I couldn’t find peace, the right people or a company that would give me the grace while I struggled to reintegrate.

I had bosses ask me what makes me think I’m special enough to have to leave work weekly to attend mental health counseling? This was after I gave my back story and informed my boss thoroughly on what I had going on.

Although I was the only 15 year vet, I was told me leaving to do so wouldn’t be fair to the other 9 employees. Then I was advised to write a letter of resignation or I would be fired with bad conduct. It was a very unfortunate situation in which I faced at a few jobs,

I felt like I had no place in society, nor did I have the ability to don the uniform I so proudly wore for 15 years. I didn’t have a place and all I wanted was somewhere to fit in,

That’s when I found meditation, crystals, herbs, candles and the metaphysical community. I was welcomed with open arms and wasn’t judged:. I had traumas that were accepted and began to find my peace. I was so grateful that I wanted to do this for as many people as I could.

To not only provide the tools but to be a support system for someone who felt alone. That was when, “Mystics Stash” was born.

I couldn’t find my place so I made it and I plan to share it with as many people as I can, to spread love, kindness and peace.

Lisa , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I got into this industry after separating from the military with a life long disability,

My company is very young and we opened September 2022.

We sell, candles, herbs, teas, crystals, ritual kits, books, jewelry, journals etc. we are considered a metaphysical and spiritual store.

We help customers solve their problems spiritually. Whether their in a emotional battle with self or others, we provide the tools necessary to find the peace everyone deserves.

What sets Mystic Stash apart from any other company is the intimate collaboration had with clients. Everyone will have my email that’s personal to me, and instant message link for product and how to use questions and even for emotional support. Each client has me as not just a supplier, but as a support system.

I can assist someone find the resources they need in their local town, because I believe mental health is imperative.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

I saved money in my savings for two years.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Family and friends helping me out and buying products and posting it. Taking items to work, or even wearing them places and directing people to my social media and website.
