Lisa , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
It has been great working on my radio show. Writing and researching content that my listeners can relate to.
Lisa , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a gospel singer and radio personality on WESL Satellite Radio where I air every Sunday at three pm central standard time. My artist name is Lisa Powell and I have released four albums and seven singles my genre is country gospel and I love blessings my audience. I love to travel and meet new people.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn was not to trust everyone that says they help. I spent a lot of money and time dealing with people who only saw their benefits. I soon got wise to their scam but, not before I had spent hundreds of dollars because they saw my desperation to succeed. I have now done my homework and realized hundreds of dollars later to pray and be wise in my business and career.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I built my career one show and one song at a time slowly building a following. I did research and had others who had been in the game a lot longer than I had been. They gave me advice and I followed it helping me to push harder and give more time to my artistic abilities.
