We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lisa Moton. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lisa below.
Lisa , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So, what do you think about family businesses? Would you want your children or other family members to one day join your business?
I started my marketing business in 2006 -I can honestly say it’s had its [highs & lows]. My parents had two businesses when I was a kid, so I learned my skillset from them. I was always in charge or wanting to be the [boss]. It was a very good learning experience.
With my own business, I almost quit a few times altogether. I wondered, am I making an impact? Turns out – I made a huge one. There’s been so many positive experiences that have happened over the years, all I can say is “I’m very humbled and grateful.”
My children have acquired my skillsets and my son has his own business. My daughter is looking to go into the sustainable fashion industry. And lastly, [YES] they can work with Leesa Media.
Lisa , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source is the compliment of a good ole fashioned [referral]. I’ve worked with people I never met in person due to referrals from someone else I worked with. You do [good business] it follows.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I follow-up all my clients frequently. Clients that aren’t signed to Leesa Media, I keep in touch 2 months after completion of works and then every 4-5 months just to check in on how they are coming along. I follow them all on social media outlets and sometimes I send [heads up] emails if there are changes that could affect them. They are all in my monthly e-blasts. They all return if additional services are needed. I currently have a 5-star rating on Google which I am very humbled to have for my business.
