Hi Lisa , thanks for joining us today. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?

I love my clients. I appreciate the fact that they can shop anywhere and they made the decision to spend their hard earned money shopping with me. I love that wig making enhances a women’s beauty. If a client is unsure about a style or look, I take my time and help create something custom. I had a client who’s daughter was graduating from high school and her stylist cancelled her appointment at the last minute. She called me in a panic because her baby needed something done to her hair. I made her a wig within 2 hours. She was gorgeous and baby girl was so happy.

Lisa , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m not a hairstylist, I am a wig maker. I love what I do. When I was pregnant with my now 4 year old son, I was placed on bed rest for the last six weeks of pregnancy. I was bored out of my mind. During that time I taught myself how to hand sew a wig while in bed. I got so good at it that people wanted me to make one for them. After learning to sew wigs on the sewing machine, my business started to boom. I was able to began teaching others the art of wig making as well.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Being consistent and constantly learning. I’m always perfecting my craft.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

My customers! They are my best marketing tools. They love their wigs and the great customer service I provide and that makes them spread the word.
