Sacha, the founder and lead designer of Living Gardens Landscape Design, has spent over 20 years creating stunning outdoor environments, while Lisa manages the Shop Living Gardens store and oversees media and marketing. Working together comes naturally—we share a similar aesthetic, a deep appreciation for beautiful design, and a genuine love for what we do.

How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.

We exclusively sell through our own website, ShopLivingGardens.com. We do not use Amazon or other third-party platforms, as many of our vendors specifically prohibit it—and more importantly, we believe that luxury deserves a luxurious setting. By curating a dedicated online experience, we’re able to showcase our collections with the care, detail, and elevated presentation they deserve, while also providing our customers with personalized service and a more thoughtful shopping experience.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

My co-founder is actually my sister, Sacha, which makes our collaboration feel incredibly natural. We’ve always shared a similar eye for design and aesthetics, so when the opportunity came to build something together, it just made sense. Our strengths complement each other perfectly—she brings decades of experience in landscape design, while I focus on the retail and branding side—so we’re able to create a seamless vision from garden design to luxury outdoor living.
